My (soon-to-be-ex) wife...
Someone told me today that Audrey is madly scurrying around looking for things to use against me in my divorce action.
She has gone so far as to read my email and copy my GunBroker posts.
It's a shame that a once proud woman will stoop so low.
I learn more about who she really is, every day.
Doug

Stay strong Doug. As long as you have your health, their as always a shot at a new beginning. Best to you my friend! 0 -
I read this thread and thought...
You guys once loved that woman enough to bed her, marry her, have kids with her...and now you are divorcing...So before you heap all the blame on one party, calling her evil, mean, yadda yadda yadda, take a good hard look in the mirror....Ask yourself
Why did she become that way...And if you are truly honest with yourself, you will find that 50% of the blame lies with you...0 -
Anybody else smell that????? [}:)] 0 -
My ex is now with her second husband living in sinful bliss making a fine example for her grand-daughters (not). She has several thousand dollars worth of my personal posessions she stole while I was out of town. I gave her 12.12 acres to even out the pot to overflowing on her side of the deal to get rid of her.
I blocked her email from my work as spam and added her to the blocked list on my personal email.
I am moving on in life trying my level best to be an honest and honorable man.
She will continue her pattern of being a common tramp.
Doug; hang in there, take the high ground and keep an eye on the goal of caring for kids and a future with out her hinderance.0 -

No I did not cause any of this crap, I got cheated. She married me under false pretenses. I should have seen she was a gold digger. She even said I came LAST after the grand kids, dogs, horses, cats then me, she told me that AFTER the wedding.0 -

Really? It is possible for you to belive that a MAN would do bad things to a woman, yet a WOMAN wouldn't do bad things to a man unless provoked?
BR you are a man hater through and through.
I would agree that it is EITHER one side or the others fault. SOMETIMES it is both, not allways, and in my belief not 50% of the time either. I know from PERSONAL experience that WOMEN are capable of being the ones doing the things MEN have been accused of for years.
Time for women like you to get over yourselves. Women wanted liberation. Good, time to be equal then. Accept that women are EQUALS and act that way. Stop demonizing us men.
I find it extremely irritating that you chime in every chance you have to belittle men. What did Doug do to deserve this? What did ANY of us do? You don't hear me belitting women, don't belittle us. You are not outr"momma" OR God's gift to men.0 -

Now, where did I belittle any man in this post?...I just simply said to take a look in the mirror, that 50% of the blame probably lies with the man...WHen a marriage breaks up, there is blame for 2..not just one in the marriage...BOTH are to blame....
I have NOT belittled Doug...As a matter of fact, Doug and I have spoken on the phone...He knows I dont hate men as do a lot of the men I have met in person on here...You dont know me from Eve, you dont know what I think, what I like or dislike yet you can label me?...As for me being your "momma" I feel sorry for your mother..As for being gods gift to men...I am gods gift to only one man...my husband...so fuffle up a gum tree buddy, if you can find one..0 -

What you don't call that blameing MEN? Sure looks that way to me. How about the rest of you guys?
Did you miss your back peddling with the comment "PROBABLY" in your reply?
You didn't specify WHICH men you pointed 50% blame to. I, being a reasonable intellegent person, can derrive that you made that comment to ALL men in this thread. So whom were you directing that comment to? We know Doug is not included by your own statement. Does your comment point to the rest of us?
Lastly, WHY would you feel sorry for my mother? She is the best I could have asked for. I do all for her I can. My mother belives in EQUAL treatment. She has never blamed "Men" for anything. She did all she could for me, WITHOUT anyones help. Dad was never around, until I FOUND HIM at the age of 19. THEN he had to repay her 18 years worth of support he never paid. She never blamed him for anything, but would be honest if I asked her something from their past. You would never hear my strong, intellegent, and wise mother making a foolish statement like "If you look in the mirror, it is 50% your fault BECAUSE your a man".0 -
In this forum it has been my observance of every guy that broke up with a woman be it girlfriend or wife, the girl/woman was a bitc* , all her fault, "I was the good guy" BS.. It takes two to make a marriage, and generally two to break it up.. If a woman is cheating on a man , wonder what he was or wasnt doing to make her cheat.. or if the man was cheating, what made him cheat?? I would like to hear the stories of the women , and then weigh them with the stories of the men.. This forum being MALE oriented of course the women are all bitc*es and money grubbers.
I once owned a tavern, and I heard it all about how women are the scum of the earth and us poor men never did anything wrong to make women act the way they do.. "My wife just doesnt understand me" especially when I lay out drunk, or whor*ing around, not to say that all men do that,, Sure there are those rare cases where it is one persons fault, but by and large as the old saying goes "It takes two to tango" holds true in a busted up relationship..
I have seen more "Dogs" in men over the years, but recently it seems that the women are catching up.. Kinda Tit for Tat Huh???
Most men that I know that didnt have a father figure in their life were the ones that expected their wives to be exactly like their mothers and when they werent everything went to Hell.. Wives dont want to be mothers to their husbands..
And when it comes to divorce, a woman can be vicious to say the least. When two or more get together they plot to see just how much blood they can get from the turnip,, The courts for years have been in favor of the woman and a man was a walking wallet,, Not so much anymore...0 -

well here we go.
my x is a bitc because,
i would leave my loving wife and children to go work out of state, offshore for 1-2 weeks a month so we could have a better life and some better money then could be made local.
i gave up 2 weeks a month away from my family to do this, in returned my loving wife would pawn off the kids lay out all night at the local drunks r us.
slept around with anything that would buy her a drink
SPEND ALL THE EXTRA MONEY, be late on the bills.
So she got the boot, i got custody of my 2 girls, kept the house, cars, guns. she paid me child support for 13 years,[:p][^]
and because of this action this is a min of 50% my fault.
I DON'T THINK SO0 -
GEE! sounds as if you werent there when she wanted you.. HMMMMMMMM... 0 -
Sorry to hear DOUG [:(]
Friendship between Women;
A woman didn't come home one night. The next
morning she told her husband that she
had slept over at a friend's house. The man
called his wife's 10 best friends. None
of them knew anything about it.
Friendship between Men:
A man didn't come home one night. The next
morning he told his wife that he had slept
over at a friend's house. The woman called her
husband's 10 best friends, eight of
which confirmed that he had slept over, and two
said that he was still there.0 -

Doug- there IS life after divorce. Classic missed the point- while it may take two to tango, one of the two does NOT have to be you. Life will get better, just takes a while. Do not be surprised at any tactic by your future ex- desperate people get frantic. Keep your guard up. 0 -
And Classic- I regularly spent 3-6 months at a stretch away from my family for some years. They are called TDY assignments. Some of them places I could not call or write from. Guess that is why I have only been married for 39 yrs. And our kids are educated, employed, and doing a pretty good job raising THEIR kids. And yes, I AM losing my lady- however, I am losing her to a disease that destroys her central nervous system. While I was on remote assignment, I was fortunate that my lady knew she was loved, and devoted herself to caring for our kids, getting the washer fixed, etc. And planning my welcome home. Have seen other wives that have to sleep around when their husband is gone (to work for the day). 0 -

I don't know what to say because I've never been divorced. I'm still happy with The Wife and refuse to call her Wife #1.
I'd be devastated if I were in your situation. So, the only thing I can offer is to pray for you.0 -

Sorry to hear of your plight. I too was in the military for 21 1/2 years. Not all women are suited for that life. I saw a bunch over the years that strayed from the marriage due to the absence of the husband. I saw many that it didnt bother at all. Still all In all I dont think there is one (1) case of a ruined relationship that is all 100% one persons fault. When people tell their end of the story the other person is the guilty party, not them. That is why I said "Lets hear both sides of the story" weed out the BS from both parties and actually get down to the reason..
It doesnt have to be a major reason, a lot of little things build up untill one or the other explodes.. I knew a woman who divorced her husband and one of the things the talked about was that he insisted on squeezing the tooth paste tube in the middle. That mixed in with a few other things, and bingo, divorce city.
Reason is lack of communication between partners. Most people dont always say what is on their mind, even on little things and let what bothers them fester until there is an explosion..
Many people get married and really do not know the person they are marrying. Before the marriage it is mostly a front put on to impress the other and after the wedding and a mellowing out period they find that maybe they shouldnt have been partners..
Sad fact of life I guess.0 -
Doug I know we have never talked but I have read about how you have been treated and i do feel some of the heartache you have felt.I have never been divorced so I cannot imagine all you have been put through.but i see you keep your spirits high and i shall keep wishing you all the best. 0 -
There is ALWAYS a cause for ever action taken. It sucks but in ALL divorces both parties are at fault. I am sure my ex said I was a bitch and nutty and all that but David fully disagrees.
I am truely sorry that you are going thru a divorce they always suck and hurt no matter what.
I will keep you in my prayers.0 -
Doug, Friends help you move, good friends help you move "baggage".
I've got a nice new entrentching tool I need to try out.[}:)]0 -
"...so fuffle up a gum tree buddy, if you can find one.."
I like that; don't know what it means, but I like it.
Married and missed twice. Both good women, but when the desision was made to split the blanket, they went after everything but a frayed corner. Probably a security issue; I was the "earner", so think they both became extremely concerned (firghtened) about their future. Hurts like he** while its going on, but it passes.
(Don't think I know how to "fuffle".)0 -
