No more testicles on your trailer hitch!
It's one thing to dangle fuzzy dice from a rear view mirror, but decorating a trailer hitch with a large pair of rubber testicles might be a bit much in Virginia.
State Del. Lionel Spruill introduced a bill Tuesday to ban displaying replicas of human genitalia on vehicles, calling it a safety issue because it could distract other drivers.
Under his measure, displaying the ornamentation on a motor vehicle would be a misdemeanor punishable by a maximum fine of $250.
He said the idea came from a constituent whose young daughter spotted an example of the trail hitch adornment and asked her father to explain it.
"'I didn't know what to tell her,'" Spruill said the constituent told him before Spruill vowed to stop such displays.
"I said, 'Sir, I'm going to be a laughingstock, but I'm going to do it,'" he said.
The Virginia General Assembly has some experience with offbeat bills. Three years ago, it drew widespread attention with an unsuccessful effort to outlaw baggy pants worn so low they expose underwear.
Spruill, 61, said the indignity of the "droopy drawers" debate wouldn't deter him. He said he won't hesitate to bring a set of $24.95 trailer testicles with him for a legislative show-and-tell.

I have to say I think they are pretty trailer trash, and indicate one probably paid way too much for a penile replacement truck, but there is no way we need a law against them. We have laws making murder illegal, we don't really need laws requiring a special punishment of the victim is blonde, 5'4" and named Britney. We also do not need idiots proposing laws making it illegal to trailer trash your truck if you choose. 0 -

Kinda tough when you are following one of these folks trucks with the picture of the guy pissing on a Chevy logo and a big sac hanging down, and your eight year old daughter asks, "What is that daddy?"
You can't turn the channel, the damn thing is right in front of you at a light. You can't shield the kids from it, it is right there in front of them.

The Senator who's proposing this bill openly admits he's wanting the state to dictate matters of good taste, but he's presenting this as a safety issue to push it through.
Apparently our self described Libertarian members feel their government should only be here to keep potholes filled...and restrict rubber bull gonads.

I should buy a pair and put em on my jeep and then watch the rear view mirror for a couple weeks in a kind of informal survey. I see them in all the jeep catalogs.
I still wish I had thought of it. I don't think we need a law but I wouldn't want to see a penile shaped object dangling down there with it. HEYYY..., maybe I can invent the rubber Penile shaped object to go along with it. Then people would know my vehicle has balls and is "cocky" as well.[:D]
