Feedback blackmail
I notice some sellers say "Be kind in the feedback you give me, for I give what I get." Somehow that translates to me to say, no matter how quick & good you pay & no matter how bad I perform, if you don't praise me I'll fix you. Some peoples thought processes are indeed something else. And to say it up front, unbelieveable. Personally I don't give those folks any bids. We know buyers think its a crock, but I bet we hear from sellers defending the practice. Some even go into a rage when jumped about it. Pity.

Buyer's responsibility is done after payment is made satisfactorily.
Ever hear of buyers remorse? Anyone that has done enough auctions KNOWS that A buyer CAN be a royal PITA, AFTER they have made payment. Up to, and including outright LYING about the product received, sometimes to try to get a "partial" refund. When confronted with a counter offer of, "Send it back, I will refund the price INCLUDING shipping" NOT ONCE has the buyer sent the item back. The buyer says it is not worth it, or some such LAME excuse, and KEEPS the item. Because there was NOTHING wrong with it in the first place. I have had this happen MORE THAN ONCE. Simply making payment is NOT the end of the buyers obligation. The auction is NOT over for EITHER PARTY, until BOTH parties are satisfied. Until then, it is an ONGOING TRANSACTION, for BOTH parties.0 -
Good to know. I've been mostly a buyer. Call me lucky. No remorse here. To date, I've always been finished with my part of any deal after I submitted payment. Anyway, only on personal experience, I've (on GB and other places) gotten feedback from the seller about 80% of the time before I received the order.
Going by the odds, I was questioning the 20%. Best, Joe0
