RULES ON GIVE-AWAYS...

If a person wins a give-away, no matter how insignificant, how long is a proper waiting period before publishing the GIVER as a DEAD-BEAT?

    I think the appropriate answer expressed in days is found by subtracting the calculated number of months they've been registered on the forum from the square root of their total post count then divide the results by their average posts per day! If the result is a negative number, then just slam them whenever you feel like it! JMHO

    I agree. Partly because I was giving away limbsavers once, boxed it up, and forgot to mail it for like 2 months.

    I have given away stuff on here before, sent it within a day or so. Just read this email and realized I forgot to send something to Doug (life gets you busy sometimes). Giveaway ended weeks ago.

    My Jarhead DVD giveaway did not go out for several weeks because I packaged it and forgot about it for ahwile during the christmas season. [B)]

    If I recall correctly during the famous GB mass give away from several years ago a list of dead beats was compiled by Rosie (the eventual winner) and turned over to the give aways organizer, but that list was never made available to GB members, much less posted in an open forum.

    This is an all time low. I have not received a couple of things won in "giveaways" and still managed to live. I figure it was a giveaway and if only done to make the giver feel good, more power to him. Get over it and get on. Don

    If there is no cost to you then you are out nothing, get over it.
