prayer thread question?

The prayer of a faithful man can be a very powerful request to God. Even a sinners prayer is heard by God, by sinner that includes us all. However in this case I mean a Blood bought born again christian's prayer. 0 -

in high school two girls were killed in a car wreck here.

It does not offend me any. I appreciate the thoughts and intentions of non-Believers, but I know where the power is...and that is through prayer. 0 -

It's not at all offensive. It's kind and shows your compassion. You don't have to say that you will pray in order to be supportive. The non prayer responses have blessed my heart just as much as the prayer sent responses have when I have asked for prayer. 0 -
responce is the objective, it matters not to me how a man or woman responds ,whether it be a believer with prayer, or an unbeliever with well wishes, in my beliefs we judge not, lest we be judged. the constitution gives us the right to worship as we choose. if i have to ask a man what religion he is before i can like him then i'm not much of a man. it matters not to me by what name a man calles his god, or if he doesnt at all, i just want the same respect[;)][:D] 0 -

When i see a post, asking for prayers, i don't just respond "Prayers sent". I actually say a short prayer, then respond "prayer sent".
I believe it means NOTHING, just to say "prayer sent"..

When I have asked, I have asked for prayers and positive thoughts. Prayers from the believers, and positive energy from the non-believers. I believe there is benefit in both.
And, I have offered prayers for believer and non-believer alike.0 -
believe it or not, it is the #1 thing that humans desire the most, to be loved and cared for. both of which are valid desires. when someone prays for you, it means not only are you bearing the task yourself, it shows that someone else is right there with you...the way mankind was meant to operate. its a very american thing to pray for one another.
the important thing to remember is, the prayer goes to a 3rd party or else it has no meaning. prayer is asking for help, mercy, or grace from God, whom all prayers are or should be directed. i cant speak for the rest of the world, but you can rest assure im not ashamed of the REAL GOD IN HEAVEN. and im not afraid to tell the world that when i pray for you, its going straight to the real one, the alpha and omega. you only get the best from me, i promise.
some of you may have good intentions, but if your rifle is off target, youre not going to hit the bulleye and shooting becomes senseless. AIM for God, and youll hit him every time. aim at something else?...your prayer will miss its target and lose value.
if your boat was sunk, wouldnt you like to think someones coming for you or will miss you?

bushmasters reply to many may seem harsh, forceful, strong, and arrogant, but it is no different than views given from the other side, in fact it is a very good example of what i see here daily from many who force their christian views on those that really don't care to hear it everyday day in day out
btw i will continue to respond to every-ones prayer thread with positive thoughts, as i have stated in the past i try to respect every-ones beliefs even if i don't have the same view, i myself don't have a problem being in the middle and meeting on neutral ground as friends0 -

I would much rather live my life believing there is a God, only to find that there isn't, than you live my life as there isn't a God, then find out there is.
Faith is hard to describe, and even harder to give to someone without it. Though, without it, how can your life be full.
Just my thoughts. I don't like to be ridiculed about my faith, but I also won't push it on someone who doesn't want it. I will feel sorry for their loss.0
