And yes, I've been the victim of ATF nonsense, stealing all my photo albums, and then going "what guns" when the return of seized guns is demanded.
I've long advised folks to make photographic record of all their firearms and storing it on a separate drive or jump drive, hidden away from everything, in case they are raided, all the computers are taken and then receipts of seized property is either not given or "disappears", as the swine line their gun cabinets with the accused (or sometimes never charged) persons guns.

Police are required to give a receipt for all seized items taken during a search warrant, demand it, and reveiw it immediately after such a seizure.0 -

IIRC going overseas to engage in sexual activities with children is illegal, even if it isn't in the country the acts are comitted.
I don't like what I see with reguards to personal privacy...but if the stupid POS DIDN'T have kiddy porn on the computer he would be up sheet creek, now, would he??0 -

I've been in several commercials and TV programs. I have been in stage plays and hundreds of TV newscasts. Go rent the recent film entitled, THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED and you will see me in that. I'm a member of the Screen Actor's Guild and AFTRA since 1997.
I don't protect criminals, I protect rights. Too often I am called to defend innocent people charged with crims including a few accused child molesters. Allegations are easy to make and are too often driven by evil motives.
Sometimes the people who's cases I work on lie and they are guilty. All accused suspects are presumed innocent until convicted after a FAIR trial.
Not all trials are FAIR just ask loads of people convicted of gun possession crimes on the say so of government snitches.
Here is a concept for you.
Most all of us would never entertain a thought of molesting a child. Not because the conduct would violate laws but because we have no sexual interest in children. Most of us find that conduct despicable.
What about the closet pedophile that thinks about having sex with children but always refuses to act on his desires because he knows that would harm children and would be evil. In this case we have pure thought not conduct. In America we protect thought or do we?

One point to consider is that if you are ever involved in a shooting, no matter how justified, they may grab your computor & all the rantings you have done on this site may come back to bite you.

You sir Understand this more than others here. There are a multitude of thoughts that could come back to bite you on your hard drive and other storage devices. Imagine what they'd do with a racist joke found on your hard drive if you were suspected of a crime against a minority grup member.0 -
Let's make this easier for some here. Who has not dreamed of owning a 1928 Thompson .45 Sub-machinegun in the original box salted away in some hiding place. How about a BAR or a silencer for your .22 pistol? Those all may be thoughts of criminal activity depending on what state you reside in.

America doesn't have the legal right to exercise its laws within the borders of a second sovereign nation.
Although there are places where enforcement of child prostitution laws are notoriously lax (eg Thailand, Costa Rica, etc), having sex with children *IS* illegal just about everywhere.
On the other hand, there are plenty of places in the world where prostitution involving consenting adults is legal, including within the USA (eg Nevada).0 -
