Looks like we will get a rebate this spring. Talk about bread and circuses! Must be an election year. So much for fiscal responsibility !

Sorry you don't seem to get it. My wife and I work hard, pay our taxes and we will see $0.00 While the people that do not pay taxes are still getting a "Tax Dividend". Now there are a few in the middle that will get back what they pay, but for the most part this is just redistribution of wealth.

Well, I just bought a shiny new stainless Ruger Blackhawk .45LC on here. Eh, I might put it towards some ammo and bills. Save some.
People at work were mad that the Fed govt would frivolously hand out money like this. I laughed. For God's sake, it's our money. We paid it in. They approve 400 billion for Iraq, bi-anually. If they sink 150 billion, ONE time back into the economy, it's really not that big of a deal in comparison, IMO. Even though the money doesn't really exist to do any of it.0 -

I'm of average income and I'll still be paying in more then they are giving me back. Income tax is complete horsepoop to begin with in my opinion so I won't get mad when they decide to give me a little bit of what's mine back to me.0 -
Joe & others had it right. It's not a handout, it's our money! I remember when I made less that I now pay in taxes. Some would say I shouldn't bi**h because I make more now. I say B.S. I have worked hard since 02-01-62. Any modest success I have results in more and more taxes. These folks in D.C. can only squeeze the middle class so far. I hope this doesn't get ugly until after I'm gone - but it will. Best of luck guys. 0 -
