Sometimes when I think of survival when the talk of WSHTFan I sit back and say It will be utter chaos in the bigger cities. Case in point Katrina. Those fools knew the hammer was comming down but instead of getting up off their butt and walking out if they had no ride-they relied on the guvmint for help. When the help never came they rioted. No matter how much we may all think ya I can hold them off-you might take a few of them but one man or two is going to have trouble against a mob intent on doing them harm. Think you can make it out alive against even a newbie squad of recruits from another country? You might for a little while--until they bring in mortars and tanks etc. I think alot of us sometimes think ya it will be like Red Dawn and we will be just fine. SOME of us might be. The ones who had some military training or at the least maybe survival skills learned from Scouting or from a life in the outdoors with knowledgeable parents. But you would have to be wayyy up in the high country to do this and not every area of the country has that. There are remote areas of desert but little water. There is always the question of how do I find a place that will be safe when there are 300,000 other people on the road at the same time trying to get out of the city? I pray non of us ever has to experience this, but if we do try to keep your head-get out of Dodge ASAP. I do remember the Koreans shooting from atop their stores during the LA riots and I think they were quite lucky-might not have turned out that way for them. 0 -

A copy of the Constitution to slap most in government across the eyes with.
Guns and ammo to protect against your own gov't. More to worry about there than from Al Queda.
Look to yourself reference the protection of you and your family. If we're invaded, the Fed can step up and fulfill their constitutional mandate. Until and unless that happens, take care of yourselves.

What utter nonsense we have been programmed into, here in America.
Somehow, EVERYBODY is a deadly killer...just as long as they are mobs or some government flunky.
Ordinary citizens are just dead meat...gonna survive just long enough to die at the hands of criminals...private and official.
I don't buy it.
The mob will flee like rabbits..with a few dead in front.
The ordinary government flunky is so used to taking orders, like the rest of the world that we have beaten repeatedly, that taking out their leaders on the ground will so demoralize them that they will become catatonic.
There will be enough patriots inside the Beast that there will be unending difficulties involved with orders being given from central locations.
Of course, trying to survive alone or with only a few people will be difficult..therefore one gathers a group of people around oneself, with varied skills and talents. ALL will shoot..or learn rapidly.
I firmly believe that the best, the brightest, and the most able understand EXACTLY what the Beast is about..and have set their hand against it.
I do not believe that we Americans can be defeated by it.0
