Super Bowl
After the Super Bowl, the politicians did their usual thing of calling teams for congratulations. This year, President Bush called the New England Patriots' locker room and congratulated them on a hard fought game and said that he understood how they felt after fighting so hard for such a close win.
About the same time, Al Gore called the Carolina Panthers' locker room and congratulated them on such a hard fought game and commiserated with them at losing such a close one. He said that he knew just how they felt.
Bill Clinton, meanwhile, was busy dialing Janet Jackson.

I think it is going to be totally awesome to see if the Patriots can make it 19 - 0! I live in Mansfield the town just south of Foxborough ... we've been watching the games on TV and listening to the fireworks outside the door. But Arizona is going to be a tad farther away, GO PATS! 0 -
Go Pats, I was born in Springfield Mass, home of S&W along with others. Grew up in Maine. Go Pats. Spent the Mario vs. Grogan Marks brothers era in Florida while the fish pounded the Pats, boo. I live outside New Orleans now and the only way I would not be routeing for the Pats is if the Saints were in the SuperBowl. "Who Dat" you got to feel for the Saints fans. Go Pats wish they were playing the Packers, I always like the Packers but never really was a fan.
