Impossible Whopper Review
The taste is like beef gravy mix or beef broth.
The texture is mostly like a very well done beef patty but still a little bit like vegetarian burgers made of beans and rice.
The cost is well above an ordinary Whopper.
I will not get it again if ordinary Whoppers are available.

Thanks I have wondered what they were like.
My wife doesn't eat Beef and doesn't like the taste so I will tell here to steer clear of them.
She eats the Morningstar bean burgers.0 -
Yep the Morningstar is what she settled on after trying a bunch of them. They all taste like cardboard to me and I like my Beef and I like it rare.........If I want beans I will make pot with a hambone in it 
They are better grilled with a big chunk of cheese melted on top smothered in BBQ sauce0 -
Seen that on "South Park" last week (or was it two?) didn't think it was a real thing. I thought the "Pink Slime" sounded bad but this? Why bother? Burger with gravy does sound good, though. Maybe I'll get the family pack of Salisbury steak in between some bread with some sliced onions. 0 -

When I make Hamburgers for myself I throw one on for my wife so she can have a "Burger" but In reality I think a grilled Portabello mushroom with cheese melted on it and lettuce, tomato, onions and a pickle on a bun is a better NO Meat alternative.0 -

There is just no substitute for a real piece of ground beef IMHO and anything trying to copy it scares the hell out of me! Probably need a chemistry set for all of the unknown additives they put in them.0 -
I like to try diff things but will not eat a chemical filled sawgrass sandwich on a bun. Why the hell would I? We have a top greasy spoon about 20 miles from me that serves some of best local grown ground beef burgers there is. Always stop when close. 0 -
Some of the very best hamburgers I have ever sunk my teeth into were from BARS that mainly specialized in (and made their profits from) serving alcohol! There must be some kind of correlation there. :shock: 0 -

I like the impossible Whopper a lot more than the regular version. I also didn't have any trouble digesting it unlike the regular Whopper. For some reason I have a terrible time digesting anything from Burger King even though none of the other fast food places bother me. 0 -

I agree Ed, elk is in my top 5 proteins. Do you like Moose meat? Moose burgers are truly my weakness and I can eat several, until I get uncomfortable actually. Can?t explain it, there is no ?full? when it comes to Moose. 🤪

I ate a lot of moose when I was a kid. I haven't had it in years, but always loved it as a kid!
I dont think I ever had it in a burger though.
Bison is right up there for me too.
The local butcher does a great job with my elk every year. We hunt in far southeast Montana, very close to South Dakota without an outfitter so it's difficult for nonresidents to get a Bull tag. This year I shot a young Cow, I know she will eat real good!0 -

Congrats on the cow! I'm going out Friday to the Nine Mile exit just West of us, then 25 miles North on a washboard road from hell to a really sweet little spot I've been successful at before. This will be my first elk with with an AR-10. After my last neck surgery, my choices are limited to "cyclic action" firearms and I've put a few down with a .308 over the years. Elk too. :P

I've hunted 5-6 years with these guys on this same ranch.
Every year, I could have shot a massive Bull. The first year I was there, I had a tremendous 7X7 35-50 yards from me in the clear, bugling like no tomorrow. Certainly made the hair on the back of my neck stand up!
I was sitting in a little cooley with my rifle resting on my gear bag and he walked right into the crosshairs!! He had no idea I was there.
Non Residents pretty much need an outfitter in this area to get a Bull tag, but we keep trying!0 -

We didn't work our way to the top of the food chain to eat burgers made of plants, I'm a carnivore I like to eat animals and I certainly would NEVER pay more for a plant based "Fake Burger" than I would for actual meat. 0
