If they ever start the confiscation...

There?s no way they have enough man power to confiscate them all at once. If anything the ATF will announce on tv, radio, social media and newspaper that you have so many days to turn them in. After that if you?re caught with one it?s a ten year stint in the gray bar hotel. If they started going door to door they of course will get some people but with the Internet today it would be on after that. While it would be an enormous undertaking all the ATF has to do is contact every gun maker to see what gun stores were sold what and then go there and seize the bound books. Hell in some States like here in Washington they will just call up the Department of Licensing because they have info on handguns and now semi auto rifles.

And anyone who willing hands in a gun deserves to live as a slave to the socialist government.
Turn in nothing, keep stock piling ammo.

If DEMOCRATs gain control of the Federal Government and institute a mandatory turn in of firearms followed by confiscation, they will use whatever means necessary to accomplish their goal. Possibly a national police force and declaration of martial law. Forget the US Cons and the Bill of Rights, they will be gone before the order.

What makes you think Republicans won?t be apart of it too? Tons of them aren?t really pro 2A. Hell Mitch McConnell himself said a few days ago all Trump has to do is say the word and he will bring a bill to the Senate. Stop thinking Republicans are the stopgap to Democrats because they?re not,

that may be true, that the repubs aren't as pro 2A as you would think, but everything he said is true. if the dims get in power they will abuse it for all it's worth and nObama did want a national police force that doesn't answer to local or state governments.

Well, I think after the first round they're going to find out that the people they sent to confiscate guns are not going to be nearly as dedicated to taking them as the majority of people are on keeping them. It ain't going to be pretty.

If they are smart, they will stick with incrimentalism. An outright Ban and Confiscation, would result in Civil Unrest the likes that we have not witnessed domestically in our lifetimes. They really do not want that, because they know the cost that would involve.

The comment that the Bill of Rights and the Constitution "would be gone" by then, is equally absurd. For the same reason.

Yes. Anyway, take me to the Federal pen, they probable eat better than me, I'm getting old so not sleeping won't be problem. I know how to keep my head down and not make waves.

Hell, maybe I'll be able to bunk with some GB members. :D I find it hard to believe that all of us will get locked up together.

This is a discussion best kept offline. I have a friend on FB and many if you know him that will probably be one of the first victims to a national red flag law because of the things he says. I know I?ve said some things before I probably shouldn?t have and I regret them but I have since sold all my guns except for my Marlin .22 and no longer care to worry about gun bans. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Unfortunately, while trying to traverse Watauga Lake, below the Butler bridge, with my gunsafe on board,(400'+ depth) my Canoe was swamped by a passing speedboat. While we tried valiantly to save her, it was a total loss. At least we had lifejackets on, and were able to make it to shore.

    I am tragically gunless.

Take off your parochial reading glasses and actually read what was posted. Never once mentioned Republicans. Reading comprehension problems? Suggest you spend your energy listening to what the DEMOCRAT candidates saying. IE: Recaps of the debates, their campaign speeches; bans, buybacks, confiscation. DEMOCRAT party has accepted gun control as dogma. Only an ostrich would think otherwise.

I worry more about the apartment leases for young female interns, $10,000 suits, $3,000,000 mansions, overseas vacations than I do the U.S government confiscating my firearms which has been discussed since JFK was killed. I also acknowledge the fact I at times have a tendency to look at problematic things sideways at times, maybe this is one of those times :D

    I hope it never happens
but I also hope if it comes down to it, all the gun owners especialy th ekey board big talk BS commandos will ban together hold huge gatherings in each state capital and give the left all there guns and ammo , ammo first of course

there will always be the "oh well give it up fun while it lasted I do not want the or need the headache ) , I hope the hold outs will gain strength from
thinking of our forefathers who gave up a lot some gave up all as example of fighting for our rights

Quite a few Americans have gone off to war to fight for the freedom of their children.

Is it so very different if the war is brought to us?

Every time we re-define and reduce our freedoms, we dishonor their efforts and their sacrifices.

Every time we allow our freedoms to be re-defined and reduced, we do the same.

The truth? If they ever start mass confiscation, 90% of gun owners will meekly comply. The few who resist will get "Ruby Ridged" along with their families. And that will be the end of that.

    To reiterate...

Confiscation is ALREADY happening. Happening now, now. Right now. This moment. Under way.

    Currently ongoing.

    In progress.

    Guns are being confiscated.

Concurrent with the immediate time period.

I have to agree with Rocky, if you don't comply what are you going to do when the armored vehicle pulls up in your driveway at 4 am and 10 people in full body armor with full auto weapons kick your door in and you family is there??? If you resist fine it will be an example, when they pull to the next house their guns will probably be in the driveway. Our only weapon is the VOTE......

3% is a small number, so no one is surprised by this.

I don?t know nationally but some were turned in here in Washington because the State Patrol ran out of vouchers and told people via the media there would be no more compensation. They had $150,000 to give $150 for each one turned in. They were out of money on day 1. Which is another thing these ?buy backs? don?t even come close to getting near where the items are worth or what they cost new.

Chief I read what you wrote and I agree the Democrats are scumbags but you cannot let a large group of Republicans which includes POTUS off the hook when it comes to gun control. POTUS has ALREADY brought out gun control by executive fiat. And many spineless Republicans are more than happy to HELP Nancy Pelosi pass gun control. None of them are to be trusted. We must hold their feet to the fire and we MUST elect a crap ton of pro 2A people to the House next time or we definitely will be done. Look at Dan Crenshaw who everyone thought was the next Republican savior. Dude is totally for Red Flag laws with that garbage TAPPS act. Trust none of them.

Never. And why would they need to when the courts can just continue to water it down into irrelevancy?

We won't have to wait for the Democrats to do any such thing. The REPUBLICANS are doing a fine job eliminating 2A rights all on their own.
