In an Election for POTUS,
Who here, "Writes in a Candidate?"
At the very end. (Not a Viable Candidate, [One without a Snowballs Chance in Hell of being Elected.] but one of your choosing?)
Did it accomplish anything?
Was Hillary defeated because of your "Vote?"

My logic does not... not anywhere.... ever say to vote 3rd party. Perhaps it's merely remedial reading skills that are in play for you?KenK/84Bravo wrote:Mr. Perfect wrote:

Your "Logic," Evades me.
It was Your Graphic. (Not mine.)
Now it turns out you " Voted for Trump."
Who is the Hypocrite here? (I stated from the get go that " I Voted for Trump.") You kind of, abdicated/hemmed and Hawed - until you came to the Truth, that you did not "Vote Third Party, you Voted for Trump."
Nice. Very Nice.
Your whole "argument," seems to lose focus, now that you have admitted, to having Voted for Trump - when It Counted, in order to defeat Hillary. (As my initial position inferred.)
Perhaps I am wrong?
Yes Randy, you have a nice day as well.
If your "Logic," says to "Vote 3rd Party," but your Actions seem to indicate otherwise, "I Voted for Trump." What am I to think?
Your graphic and "Logic, " notwithstanding.0 -

Sorry Randy,

My graphic. Yes. My graphic. You do realize that it literally does nothing more than mock the illogic (your logic) of not voting third party for the reason that a third party can't garner votes? You do realize that, right? Maybe that's too much to expect from someone who seems to struggle with concepts such as 1>0.0 -

Yes Randy, Voting for a Third Party Candidate that has absolutely No Hope of winning, when it comes down to one or the other, (and it is essential to defeat the other Leading Candidate,) is Illogical.
I agree with you.
Nice "Edit," add on, by the way.0 -
My "maybe" has been confirmed. 0 -

For me, I will just keep on casting the vote that is completely and solely mine in the manner that my intellect, ethics/integrity and principles dictate.
Those things dictate that my vote never goes to support anyone who fails to measure up to the yardstick of individualism, fundamental individual liberty, the enumerated rights in the Constitution's BOR and at least a basic adherence to the principles of our founding. Anyone who fails to measure up is a no-go.
Not expecting Heysus Christos himself, e.g. some 'perfect exemplar', just actual measurable, verifiable beliefs and adherence.
Neither will I support the transparently phony Globalist-Collectivist Party in their machinations and chicanery of staging the cyclical clown-show wherein selected acceptable (to them and the shadow cabal controlling things) candidates are offered up or allowed to rise up for the 'choice' of the electorate.
I will not support the very things, exemplified in people running for election to any office, that are diametrically opposite my fundamental beliefs and that are demonstrably destroying this 'once' Republic.
Your mileage obviously varies.0 -

While I again, Agree.
My main focus, (when reality comes in to play), is to insure the likes of Hillary Rodham Clinton, or Bernie Sanders do not come to power as POTUS, in this Country.
My goal was accomplished. They did not.
My Vote, was not wasted.
Think of me as you will. It matters not.0 -
I voted third party and will again most likely. Mostly hoping they get enough votes to get the government support the two main ones do. I did not like trump or hillary so voted that way. 0 -

In my assessment, there is no 'reality' in voting for someone who represents what one opposes, if one actually opposes it. How can a man of principle do so and remain the man that he is if he votes in such a manner...rhetorically of course.
Appreciate the civility Ken.
I am merely framing an ethical/principled stance. Not meant to denigrate you, just to illustrate this concept and why I do what I do and to shake loose some self-reflection, perhaps, in whoever reads this stuff.
I expect you are a good man.0 -
The same can be said here, Sir.
I appreciate intelligent recourse and differing opinions.
As I said before, my main focus this past Election cycle was to insure Hillary Rodham Clinton did not assume the position of POTUS.0 -
If voting mattered they wouldn't let us do it. Of course here in the DPRK it REALLKY doesn't matter. Even when we win a vote the courts overturn it. 0 -
There won't be any question of who should be POTUS in 2020.
Getting the House Back and more Senators will be of the ultimate challenge.0
