All charges against Jussie Smollett have been dropped

All criminal charges against Jussie Smollett were dropped Tuesday during an emergency court hearing in Chicago, according to his lawyers.

The ?Empire? star agreed to perform community service and will surrender his $10,000 bond.

He was accused of lying to police when he told them two men unleashed a racist and homophobic attack on him in Chicago.

    Everyone knows he made a false claim, and one would think for the most part has ruined his career.

    Perhaps some idiot will hire him again, but most folks steer clear of know liars and drama queens.

    He should be more humble and reflective about these events, because this isn't over by a long shot. I imagine the US Attorney in that District has already had a conversation with Attorney General Barr. Smollett's attorney's think it's wise to be aggressive...keep messing with the bull... :twisted:

    No - I Disagree. I think that before long, maybe 2 seasons, he'll get another acting job and this will help him gain notoriety. We've not seen the last of Jussie...

    Well apparently there is some good news. President Trump has ordered the FBI and Justice department to investigate why the charges were dropped. The female Black prosecutor who indicated that she had excluded herself was telling a lie . She did not. She has also received campaign ? funds from none other that George Soros to the tune of $408,000 . It doesn't take a rocket scientist to smell the fishy stuff going on in this case.
    So now the Prosecutor , Judge, and Jussie will have to answer questions on a federal level. Hope for justice !

    City of Chicago just sent him a bill for $130,000. Since he's likely not to pay, the city will sue him to preempt his lawsuit. He won't fair well in a civil proceeding with the facts presented. One way or another he's not going to walk away from his crimes.

    I would only hope a true accounting of what took place, would/will transpire.

    (But) Since no True accounting has taken place, in God knows how long in this type of BS, "I'd reckon not."
