Thanks guys. It's definitely money well spent.

Not even 48 hours post surgery and Kola is trying to run around the house like a puppy again. Unreal! We are going to have our hands full until she gets her stitches out! [:0]

She is definitely a trouble maker!

Energetic as all heck too, even at her age.

Well I don't know if the comparison is the same but I will tell you my sad story. We had our Sparky in at the vet for a checkup, he discovered a tumor on the spleen. Said the dog had between one week, and three months to live.

So we could do the surgery and remove the tumor and the dog still would die in 3 months tops.
So we skipped the surgery, not gonna put my doggie through that if it wouldn't extend his life very much.

And one week later our doggie died. He didn't even seem sick, he looked like the healthiest dog on the planet. Ten years old.

Very good. Did you have to use the neck cone to keep her away from the point of surgery, make her an upside down "dog lamp"? We had to with Smokey, didn't know she hadn't been spayed. [:0]

Haha, we've had to use in sparingly so far. When we're around she's been great. Any time we leave her alone, we put the "cone-of-shame" on for precautionary measures.
