    The cold front has passed through our area of East Texas, so it is 42 degrees right now and is expected to drop to 29 tonight. We also have fairly high winds, so there's a pretty good wind chill factor.

    -2 degrees here in northern lower Michigan at 3:45 AM. The high winds of yesterday seem to have diminished but when letting my dogs out the back door, was quite a chore with a good 18" of snow barricading us in![:(]

    A little side track of this thread, if I may.
    I use propane for heating. Now propane remains a liquid at anything
    below about -40 degrees, stops gasing so doesn't flow as a gas for use.
    What do you guys in the really cold areas do to prevent this?

    Thankfully, a propane tank isn't affected by wind chill.

    That purple crap is headed my way...pushing lake effect snow ahead of it. 3-6 feet of snow is what the forecast is calling for.

    Its about 40 and getting ready to rain.

    I was going to ATL to visit my Dad but I guess they are expecting snow. I also heard the buss drivers were on strike and super bowel is there this Sunday. I cancelled until next week. Maybe I will go see Ricci this week if he is going to be around.
