I agree completely with post these posts. This is a lot of the same kind of thinking that went into Windows 8. It's also what happens when you have a permanent web design staff: pointless change for the sake of job retention.0 -
Funny how those that like the new system or say give it time have all the answers like filter this or filter that or use advance but they seem to forget how things use to work first time without getting all that garbage a few years back. I know one thing, I will spend less time searching on GB. Come on support, KEEP IT SIMPLE! 0 -

The new format is very, very hard to navigate. Please, return to the previous website application, ASAP. The "Watchlist" has been destroyed: it must be reset every time an item is clicked-on and returns without my settings. This limits usage because of the numerous clicks required to return and reset "results per page", "active", "ending date", ascending", etc.
The "new" website format is a disaster! Please, default to the previous one or continue to allow the choice between the two.0 -
I also HATE this new site. Hey Moderators, how about a vote to see if anybody wants to change back? Don't ask in the forums, put a simple YES/No box on the home page. When you get the results, fire the wizbang who ok'd the change. If they complain about the unemployment line, tell em " Give it some time, they'll get used to it". 0 -

What I pay attention to are people saying "I can't find your listing when I look for ________" which used to happen.....but doesn't now. I had this happen quite a few times back in what some of you think are the good ol' days. Now if you search something specific I'm relatively certain if it is listed correctly you will see it. These are the things that have improved without a lot of people realizing it.0 -

This forum, and it's moderators have absolutely NOTHING to do with GunBroker auctions. They can no more put up a voting box on the auction home page than you can.0 -

Getting back to old days. Which is worse, missing one in a million from a bad description or getting a lot of garbage all the time unless of course you are willing to spend all that extra time with filters or go to advance?0 -
It is just so much harder to tell when stuff on my Watch list ends, and the searches are still broken as I described above. This is crap, and there is no official way to complain about it.
PS - It just occurred to me how to describe what is wrong with GunBroker's new Watch List in as few words as possible: IT'S NOT LIKE EBAY'S ANY MORE.
In other words, GunBroker has some schmuck working for them who thinks he knows better than Ebay, which must be, what, 100 times bigger than GunBroker? Hot tip: HE DOESN'T.0 -
The more I use the NEW format the more I miss the old "everything on one page format". No more quick look at FFL sent/FFL received,Feedback given/received,payment sent/received. It may still be there but it requires you to go to another SLOW link.
I am sure this NEW and IMPROVED format was forced on the users because it is better for them and they just don't appreciate the more complex format.
The SELLERS need to remember if it wasn't for the BUYERS there wouldn't be a GunBroker site.If the site is too complicated to navigate the buyers will go elsewhere.

That is not the old format that I was referring to or some of the other old timers were thinking about either, but it does explain the widespread confusion that the subject of new or old auction side format will create.
