Prayer request, for me
I have cancer. A regular check up found something not right.
There is a large mass covering the left kiddney.
The last of the tests came in today. The doctor called and asked me to come in.
Had the cancer surgen waiting to meet me.
We went over the tests. He said that the kiddney is totaly covered and there is a small something on my liver. Laid out my options.
Told me there were other cancer doctors and it wouldn't hurt his feelings if I went somewhere else. But, time was important. I said I would take his word and what is next.
Monday is a meeting with his team.
November 9th. is the pre-surgery prep and then the knife. He said that there is no saving the kiddney, remove it, see what else is in there and go forth from there. He believes that it is only just the left one. I have no pain, pee like a race hore, no problem and the pee tests are clean, how can that be? Only hurts when you push on my side.
Then they sent in a Chpalin / countselor to talk with me. Did I need some one to come and get me, how did I plan to tell my wife and kids, was I going to off myself. NO, I ain't going to off myself!
I believe God has a plan. I believe His Son died for me. I trust in the Father and the Son. But am I scared? Yes. More then ever before in my life, I am scared. Not so much for me, but for my family.
I ask you to please pray for me and for Lesia, Jake and Josh. I am so worried about them if this goes south.
My plan is to believe God will take care of this and I plan to fight will everthing that I am and be here for a long time. (Got to get to my 1000th. post give away.)But, I am scared.

44 I had cancer on my left kidney, found it while having a test for something else. Doc cut it out and I've done fine. Having the spot on your liver however is another situation. Time is important and it's good you are moving forward. You are in our thoughts and prayers, wishing you and your family the best. 0 -

My daughter has been going thru this for about 1 1/2 years now. Chicago hospital, kemo the whole 9 yards. Found out it all came back last mouth. She just left for a treatment center in Phoenix Arz. Called "Euromed" you might want to check it out. My best my friend. 0 -

God made the doctors, and allowed them to learn the latest skills, techniques, and treatments.
I pray those doctors acknowledge where their powers come from, and that they do their very best for you.
I believe that God is still in the miracle business, but acknowledge that He doesn't heal every ailment.<p>
I pray that God grants you peace with the situation, and the courage to face it, no matter which way it goes.
Should it not go the way you want it to, I am thankful that you know Jesus as Savior, and that you know where you're going.

Prayers from here and good luck with the treatment. You can survive fine on one kidney and liver surgery has come along well. Emory in Atlanta has a good liver surgeon Dr. Juan Sarmiento who has worked on Jimmy Carter with good results. He is a leader in the field of using laparoscopic surgery for liver resections. 0 -
I see you live in WI. May want to make a trip over to the Mayo Clinic for their recomendation. 0 -

My heart and Prayers go out to you 44. Sounds as though you are a Man of Faith. That is a very good thing indeed.

Prayers and best wishes for a good outcome and rapid healing.
I believe it is very good to be humble enough to ask for prayers for yourself and I believe God will hear every one of those prayers said on your behalf.
I hope your faith will be looked on favorably by God and hope that he will answer your prayers with a miracle. God is capable of anything so don't be afraid to ask for a lot, he has the power to heal in unimaginable ways.

I am Irish and German, I am a fighter. I will be a lion, not a whimpering dog.
I have God,my family and some very good friends. I have all of you here to hang out with.
I am well blessed.
I will keep updated coming as I learn more. Tomorrow is a meeting with another doctor and drawing up the battle plans for the surgery.
I choose a cancer center close to home. I don't not want to be in a strange city, making my wife drive. I feel safer near where I live.
