Prayer request, for me
I have cancer. A regular check up found something not right.
There is a large mass covering the left kiddney.
The last of the tests came in today. The doctor called and asked me to come in.
Had the cancer surgen waiting to meet me.
We went over the tests. He said that the kiddney is totaly covered and there is a small something on my liver. Laid out my options.
Told me there were other cancer doctors and it wouldn't hurt his feelings if I went somewhere else. But, time was important. I said I would take his word and what is next.
Monday is a meeting with his team.
November 9th. is the pre-surgery prep and then the knife. He said that there is no saving the kiddney, remove it, see what else is in there and go forth from there. He believes that it is only just the left one. I have no pain, pee like a race hore, no problem and the pee tests are clean, how can that be? Only hurts when you push on my side.
Then they sent in a Chpalin / countselor to talk with me. Did I need some one to come and get me, how did I plan to tell my wife and kids, was I going to off myself. NO, I ain't going to off myself!
I believe God has a plan. I believe His Son died for me. I trust in the Father and the Son. But am I scared? Yes. More then ever before in my life, I am scared. Not so much for me, but for my family.
I ask you to please pray for me and for Lesia, Jake and Josh. I am so worried about them if this goes south.
My plan is to believe God will take care of this and I plan to fight will everthing that I am and be here for a long time. (Got to get to my 1000th. post give away.)But, I am scared.

I know exactly how you feel. I also have a serious problem but it is not cancer. My concern is not so much for me as it is my wife as you say. I honestly believe in God and his son and I think I know him pretty well. I will pray for you to night. Death is not the worst thing but it is hard for the ones left behind more than those who go. Words seem so useless at times like this. 0 -
