If this gets verified as being true then it could be the black swan event to push oil prices to a very high price. President Trump will have no choice but to boycott selling Arms to Saudia Arabia.

The Saudi Consul to Turkey told the 'hit squad' accused of being flown in to murder Jamal Khashoggi, to 'do this outside or you'll get me into trouble', in audio allegedly recorded at the consulate in Istanbul.
Consul General Mohammed al-Otaibi fled Turkey yesterday, hours before it was reported that he can be heard on the seven minute audio Khashoggi allegedly recorded on his smartwatch of his own torture and murder.
The audio - which has not been released to the public - reportedly also hears one of the alleged killers instruct the others to wear headphones and listen to music while dismembering the 59-year-old.

Let us examine this. A radical islamist supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood with connections to Hamas gets whacked by a government he wanted overthrown. His own government, by the way, and on the sovereign soil of that government.
One of the reasons we support the Saudis is that they kill terrorists and terrorist sympathizers.
We need to look at this solely in the vein of what is best for the US. As noted by BSR, I don't plan to lose a whole lot of sleep over this.0 -

It happened on sovereign Saudi soil, same thing as if it had happened inside the country of Saudi Arabia.

Exactly, so depending on any proof, and what that proof reveals, we could support the prince or not.
I have to recant my earlier statement, yes we could get involved without proof. But then to what end do we get involved? The USA could solidify a very good relationship by smoothing this whole todo over.
Because of the negatively charge presentation of the scenario, I foolishly though USA involvement had to be some drastic negative action against Saudi Arabia and the Prince. We could come to his aid instead.
