To ya'll I am a new comer.
I was not going to join but I did because I could not believe that ECC was a moderator on a gun forum.
That guy was one of the biggest tools I have ever seen, that and the fact that he had no idea what he was talking about or describing on his own gun auctions.
But I kind of miss him.
I think the 188mph car was a little over the top.
I missed the lawsuit but its been fun watching guys want to fight over crap on the forum.0 -
TrFox trying to defend the NRA against Highball, and others.
(And) Who can forget Worls Klas?0 -
I choose to be a spectator in many cases. Picking ones battles wisely is the way to go though I?m generally close by ?in the weeds? checking the situations out 0 -

I forgot about that. Didn't he say he was in the 82nd and had a bad landing and that was why he was 100% DA?

Not to be telling tales out of school, but I'm sure many remember a feller lost his job awhile back over issues in the forums. 0 -
cutiegirlracing, Zulu/Victor who if memory serves was a wannabe cop who couldn't pass the physical so he went to work in a toy store or some such thing. And argued with his brother over the synthetic oil thing if I remember the argument right. Tomahawk and his kid Jacob (who seemed like pretty decent guys). That guy from North Carolina who tried to defend shooting deer and not knowing how to field dress them so he hauled them to the processor guts and all. And carried his Rock Island .45 to intimidate the neighbors when he was mowing his lawn. I don't post much, or even log in all that often, but I'm here pretty near every day. 0 -

I remember all kinds of fun things.....and some NOT AT ALL fun things. There is a learning curve to being on a forum and just how involved you want to get with some of the members. I think one of the funniest things was when Jimmy was "drunk posting" one afternoon when we had some real problems with a guy. I had to send Nunn an email pleading for Jimmy to just get a time out and not permanently banned. 0 -

were you able to get him unlocked on the auction side?0 -
He just got a week or two week time out on the forums. I don't think he was ever locked off the auction side. You can get away with a little drunken rant if that is a one time thing (and the rant is VERY justified.) 0 -

I can remember getting my auction side account locked over an argument/opinion I had with CaptFun here. Made it a point to remind me I didn't have much for feedback over there, as if it was remotely relevant. The second time it happened, I didn't know it was locked until I went to either bid on or BIN something I was interested in. Made me think "hmm, what was that you were saying about not having much feedback? Here I am trying to bump the number up a bit, and you won't let me".
Thankfully, I already knew the definition of the word "irony".[}:)]0 -
