I hope it does not pass. I have been involved in moving factories from one state to another. Just completed one such move for my employer. It is expensive, always hits production and there are always at least some employees who get screwed.
That said, if it does pass my call for a new home is Arizona. Lots of gun-friendly laws and people here.
Heck, we'd throw them a Party and a Parade!

It is sometimes difficult to imagine that politicians can be that stupid. Fedreal law already requires background checks on all internet sales. You have to go through an FFL to get a modern gun shiped to you. Any magazine limit is a waste of time. Takes a few seconds to switch magazines. Background checks on private sales is a good idea and as long as it does not involve back door registration I realy don't care. It will not stop any criminal from getting a gun. These laws will not realy bother law abiding gun owners much, if any. It may cost a few bucks to run a background check but with modern computer systems cost should be nominal. Took me 5 minutes to get aproval for a $15,000 limit credit card at Scheels yesterday. Background check for a gun should be no more complicated. In Illinois an individual has been able to do a background check on a private gun show for years. Takes a $2 call to an Illinois State Police number. We all need to fight all of these new laws to the bitter end, but what I see so far is an inconvienence, not the end of the world. 0 -

Colorado is just another libber state with John Denver & Glenn Campbell whistling and yodeling all their touchy feely san fransisco songs..[:(!] l flew into Denver Airport a couple times and had the hardest time finding anyone that spoke English. l heard more English in Frankfort Airport or Hong Kong than Denver Airport [V] 0 -

Then you didn't see much of Colorado, I imagine.
Glen Campbell was born in Arkansas, performed at the 1980 Republican National Convention and counted among his close friends, Charleton Heston and Ronald Reagan. To the best of my knowledge, he never lived in Colorado.
John Henry Deutchendorf aka Denver, on the other hand...well...I guess we gotta claim him.
As for flying into DIA, I've only done it once, but everybody I had contact with spoke English.
Both out House and Senate are Democrat Controlled and out Governor is just another Dem. I did the best I could about that, but I'm only one vote in Rural Colorado.
Maybe next time you're here, you can take the time to learn something about the fine people in Colorado instead of just talking out of your ass.0 -

Gun owners on the border with other states can move their arms to more friendly territory and boycott their state's business's in favor of the other states draining the tax base of the scum bags in political office. If we do this and stick to it they WILL notice and feel it. 0 -

The WalMart here sells reloading stuff. Or it did when it could keep up with the demand. The fact that the shelves haven't been stocked with something else gives me hope that, once the pipeline opens back up, they will again.

after 18 years.., in 1977AD i moved from Kommiefornia to Colorado, stayed there for 16 years until it became Kommierado, moved to a free state called Arizona, been here for 20 years and will be here till i am dust !!

"Background checks" is registration -- particularly with computerized records.
All FFL records are open to review by the ATF at any time (it's particularly easy for them to copy all of an FFL's records when they are all computerized). All FFL records are turned over to the ATF when an FFL closes up shop.
If all transactions on firearms are required to be recorded through FFLs, you have effective universal registration of all firearms -- at least all the firearms in law-abiding citizen's hands (the criminals won't be complying with such laws).
Those seeking to destroy the 2nd Amendment -- and make the population unarmed so they can force their socialist nightmare on us -- know that the logistics of universal registration and confiscation can't be done overnight.
There are just too many guns out there, and too many people who would resist any outright act described as "registration." The solution they've come up with to achieve the registration they want (so they'll know where the firearms are, so eventual confiscation will be easier) is to carry out registration deceptively.
They call it "universal background checks" -- instead of "universal registration" -- and try to suggest it is a "reasonable, common sense" step in controlling "gun violence."
"Universal background checks" will do nothing to reduce or limit gun violence -- since the criminals will not be complying. It is simply a ploy to get a record of all the firearms owned by law-abiding citizens.0 -
Sad to see that CO is falling to the Liberal tsunami on gun control and the taking away of law abiding citizens 2nd Amendment rights. I also see the hand of Joe Biden in this....making those calls to DEM pols to get their votes ("East Coast politicians..)Hopefully CO citizens will respond accordingly the next time at the voting box and turn the bums out. 0 -

You are right ! Take a hard look at Emily's List a PAC devoted solely to getting female democrats into office. They are aligned with 'America Votes' (see my signature line), The Sierra Club, NAACP, The Brady Campaign and the ugly list goes on.
You bet they have an anti-gun agenda in this country.
As long as this country keeps electing the Diane Feinsteins, the Nancy Pelosi's, the Barbara Boxers and so on and so on, this is never going to end.
