Break the bonds that hold you to two party servitude, my countrymen. Freedom and Liberty are within your grasp, you just have to release the demons that have subjugated you for the past 100 years.

That's exactly what people have just done.

They rejected everyone the Republican party establishment pushed in front of them.

Folks have been demanding the whole corrupt system be burned down for years and now they won't support the guy who showed up with gasoline and matches.

And voted for a Democrat. How odd, really.

The last two elections will be repeated. Hitlary will be president. Morals and personal values guarentees she will win. The personal values of those whonrefuse to vote for the lessor of the evils ALWAYS places the most evil in office. 8 years of Klinton and 8 years of Oblammer have proven this to be true. Trump will never win, we will be given Klinton just as we were given Klinton before and just as we were given Oblammer.

Sleep well gentlemen, you stuck to your standards. Another 8 years of hell is upon us and it is your shoulders upon which the blame rests.

That's pretty much what I said in 2008. Too many people sat on their hands because McCain wasn't good enough for them. This year it is different. Trump is so bad in so many ways it is very hard to say he is the lesser of the two evils.

He didn't need to bring her up at all. When asked what kind of judge he intended to nominate for Supreme Court Justice he volunteered that he intended to appoint judges "like" his sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, a Senior United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Trump has said she is the type of Justice he wants on the U. S. Supreme Court. That takes "might" out of your calculation.

Here's a partial transcript of the actual interview.....I'm posting it with the knowledge that it will probably be disregarded and I will be told that I am looking at the wrong statement, even though the "actual" quote will never get posted.

    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/feb/16/ted-cruz/cruz-trump-thinks-his-sister-hardcore-pro-abortion/

    quote:
Trump did say his sister would make a "phenomenal" Supreme Court justice, but he was quick to say he wouldn't appoint her.

Back in August, Bloomberg's Mark Halperin asked Trump if there was anyone he would consider for the court if the opportunity came up. Trump declined to name specific people.

But then Halperin asked, "How about your sister?"

"I think she would be phenomenal," Trump said. "I think she would be one of the best, but frankly I think she is - we'll have to rule that out now, at least temporarily."

And in an October interview with Fox, Trump added that Barry would probably decline the offer, as she is "very happy where she is."

Minutes after Cruz's This Week interview Feb. 14, Stephanopoulos asked Trump if he would nominate his sister. Trump said that he was just kidding back in his August Bloomberg interview.

"My sister, she also happens to have a little bit different views than me, but I said in that in a very joking manner," Trump said. "But my sister obviously would not be the right person. It's a conflict of interest for me."

So, what will you do with your vote, James?

Well James, On the Presidential Ticket if I had to vote today I'd probably have to vote for Harvey Keck or Daffy Duck. If anybody can convince me between now and Election Day the orange headed scum ball clown New York City Democrat actually intends to nominate Americans to the Supreme Court I'll consider swallowing my pride and vote Republican. The chances of that happening look pretty slim. I don't think it matters very much anyway. I voted for McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012 and they still didn't save America.

Find out what you can about the clown's sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, a Senior United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Trump has said she is the type of Justice he wants on the U. S. Supreme Court.

Harvey Keck was a fictional character that took the blame for everything that went wrong in Boot Camp. I recently found out there really is a Harvey Keck, but he ain't the one I'm talking about.

I know the feeling my friend, but he just recently stated that the first appointment would be the Antonin Scalia type. We'll see if and when he becomes president.

A vote for Hillary is a vote to end the USA. Trump owns too much of this country to see it go down the drain. There is a lot wrong with him but he is way better than the alternative. I am a little shocked at the amount of people who think that if you don't believe like them you are an idiot. Only the most ignorant people always assume they are always right. Everybody knows something you don't know. Nobody can make the amount of money Trump has in business unless he knows a lot about money and we need somebody who knows about money if we are to ever get out of this debt. We can't even fight a war when we are broke.
Our biggest danger now is drugs. They are killing 30,000 Americans a year. that dwarfs terrorism and all the wars. It also destroys the education of the youth. Jefferson said that unless the citizens were educated we could not remain a free country. He was right. If the people were better educated the bad muslims would not be able to take over this country. Half the stuff you hear about Trump is a plain out lie. Do you really believe Nute Gingrich and Guliani would be for him if he was as bad as some of you make him out?? Better think about it some more.
I think somebody should start a post for the best insulting remark. Once we can establish who is the best at making outlandish remarks then maybe we can have an intelligent conversation about the presidency. Name calling is a 12 year old level art. Third grade. Calling Trump names accomplishes what???

You just made the best argument for voting AGAINST Trump although it would be insulting 12 year olds to say Trump has reached that level.

In the interview I saw he said he said he likes Clarence Thomas and didn't comment further. He also said his sister would be a "phenomenal" Justice. He said he would nominate judges like his sister.

I don't rightly give a rat's ass who he likes or who gets to wear the black dress of a Supreme Court Justice. I want Supreme Court Justices who have read and understand the U. S. Constitution and are honest enough to vote accordingly.

I've never thought the orange headed clown would actually nominate his sister; I think, as he said, he will nominate judges like his sister.

He has time to amend and expand his comments, but I have no reason to believe he will.

The progressive establishment republicans are trying to play Trump like a fiddle, just like Bill O'Reilly, a New Yorker, who was pluggin' for Trump to appoint Rudy Giuliani, another New Yorker, as his Homeland Security Secretary - who does this surprise?!!!!!! Anyone remember the complaints about where most of the Homeland Security money was funneled, with some locations, guess which ones, being treated like, as the old sayin' goes, "unwanted red headed stepchildren."

There might be a chance of uniting the members on this forum who have not already voiced the possibility they will vote for Trump, but for those that have already stated that they are not going to vote for him, I think your spinning your wheels. They are like the bunch of us that have not voted for a GOP president in the last election or two...in that they can live with the slow-flush establishment politicians way of life, and that's okay since it is their vote.

You will have the chance to throw away your dignity & sense of honor.
Trump is so bad I am not convinced he is the lesser evil.

Earlier in this thread weewillie, I stated, in response to Neoblackdog's post:

I will most likely be going the other direction this year, and once again will vote for a candidate instead of against one. Trump may surprise me, and it would be a big surprise. So, given that, I will not say never, though I probably could.

I will give Trump a chance, but every time the brain dead buffoon opens his mouth, it becomes more difficult to think there will be the referenced surprise.

You did catch his idiotic statement regard discount the value of U.S. Treasuries in some 'Bankruptcy worked for me, so its gotta work for the US' scheme, did you not? It would be difficult to find a more effective way to destroy the credit market in the U.S. if one actually set out to do so.

I am sure that this latest not ready for prime time idiocy will either sail completely over the heads of his supporters, or will be excused as 'good business' when, just like his threatened tariffs, such an action will hurt millions upon millions of Americans.

So, the door remains opens, and salesman Trump still has a chance to stick his foot in the jamb provided he can find a way to pull the other one of his mouth.

    I don't believe Trump is a conservative.
I don't believe he understands the Constitution.
I don't believe he understands the position and limits of the Presidency.
I believe he lacks a moral compass.
I believe the ability to earn money is irrelevant as a qualification.
I don't believe he will capture the women's vote.
I don't believe he will get the minority vote. Any flavor.
I don't believe he has a chance in hell of beating the cankle queen.

I believe he will make deals to suit himself and not to defend a moral or Constitutional position.

I believe he will trade away justice selections for political expediency as it suits him.

I believe he has manufactured his new branding of himself to gull the dis-satisfied right leaning mob.

I believe a vote for Trump is actually a vote for Hillary or at best a Hillary light real estate huckster sporting a rented conservative sandwich board.

    I believe we are fooked.[xx(][xx(][xx(]

From here, at least a thousand miles north of you and because I've followed and studied politics for well over 1/2 a century; you are 'SPOT ON'.

What true conservative? Paul ryan and the rest of the republicans in general just gave Obama everything he asked for and more. A total blank check after running on the platform that they would defund his agenda. How can anybody ever call them conservative again. They flat out lied. They are bought and paid for puppets. They created Trump and I'm happy they showed their colors. I'm sending money for Trumps campaign in the General election.
