For the December 6 vote, 364 Congressmen voted against the measure and a mere 58 ? all Democrats ? voted in favor. 4 voted present. This is a massive failure.

Well he sure acts guilty when his lawyer takes the fall on His tweets!

We will never know who tweeted what will we? Too convenient with whites lies for me. That's what lawyers do for their clients to get them off.

WASHINGTON ? President Donald Trump's personal lawyer took responsibility Sunday for a tweet that Trump sent the previous day, in which the president said for the first time that he knew his former security adviser, Michael Flynn, had lied to the FBI before he fired Flynn in February.

The tweet caused an uproar in Washington because it implied Trump knew Flynn had committed a felony ? lying to the FBI ? when he told then-FBI director James Comey to go easy on Flynn the day after the firing.

Dowd told NBC News that he drafted the tweet and then sent it to White House Social Media Director Dan Scavino to publish. When asked for the original email he sent to Scavino, Dowd said he dictated it orally.

I told you so. It is impossible for a sitting president to obstruct justice by firing the head of any part of government including the FBI.
Constitutionally he can fire him because he doesn't like the color of his eyes. He doesn't even need a reason. I haven't even had a beer for over 35 years. Can you say that SERF. That's one reason I'm not a democrat but even my dog knows better than to be a democrat.

If Trump knew Flynn was guilty of lying to The FBI and ask James Comey to not investigate him any further than he was using his influence to obstruct justice.

I don't care even if his lawyer posted it in his name either! It's a dodge by Trump and his lack of action not to fire his lawyer is just more gas on the fire.

Can tweets be used in legal proceedings?

The answer here is a clear yes.

Tweets have already been used in plenty of cases, including against Trump ? particularly in relation to his attempts at issuing travel bans on certain Muslim-majority countries.

Even deleted tweets have been used in court cases. With Twitter, the main challenge is to show that the account belongs to a particular person, according to Alex Whiting, a law professor at Harvard University and a former prosecutor at the International Criminal Court. That's not an issue when it comes to Trump.

You liberal democrats or sanders fans are just desperate to the point that you are laughable. Get over it. Trump is president and he will be for 8 years. After that it might be mike pence. The supreme court will be 3/4 conservative at least for the next 20 years.
"IF Trump knew Flynn was guilty of lying to The FBI and ask James Comey to not investigate him any further than he was using his influence to obstruct justice."
Even then nothing can be done. The president can legally request such by the constitution. The same as Obama got fast and furious off the hook. He just stopped the investigation.

    ....

Maybe I'm missing something here, but doesn't the President have to do something wrong in order to warrant being impeached?

Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to deny anybody their God given right to hate someone, but somehow I don't think extreme bias would hold up in court ?

If Trump has violated his duties then he deserves his day in court.

BUT, after a year of investigation which has yielded nothing, coupled with this 'FISA' thing, even though I'm doing my best to distance myself from the 'news', I can't help but wonder if one side is trying to cover their crime by accusing the other side of doing the same.

A quote from "Hamlet" comes to mind, "the lady doth protest too much." Which resulted with the revelation that the "lady" was as guilty as Hell by manner of complicity.

One thing for sure "somebody" has either tried, or succeeded, in stealing the country.

Oh what the hell break out the guillotine and let's see where this goes

Oh, one other inconvenient truth should be considered - and that is, according to the ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and explosives) more guns were sold during the eight years of the Obama presidency than in the 200+ years that preceded it.

Honestly I find that hard to believe.

I would hope that influx of sales was for sporting arms (I.e. Duck guns, pheasant guns, deer rifles,,target guns and the like) but I don't think that it was.

I think the reality is a large portion of America is armed to the teeth and stand ready to take on its alleged government.

So let's think for a moment - who is pro gun and who is anti gun.

And I am of the opinion that any attempt to disarm them would result in instantaneous revolution.

Trump, like him or not, controls them - so he is being benevolent and not turning the "rabble" against the opposing team.

Give the thought some serious consideration - one tweet could bring chaos beyond imagination

One should reconsider bringing an "indignant attitude" to a gun fight.

    ...

I'm as horrified at the thought as you are.
