The records say that a ?very senior member of the Presidential Transition Team? directed Flynn to contact officials from foreign governments, including Russia, about the U.N. resolution on Israel. That official is also not named, but people familiar with the matter said it refers to Kushner. According to one transition team official, Kushner told Flynn that blocking the resolution was a top priority of the president-elect.

When Trump became president elect. He can talk with any person in any country who will accept his call. Actually, even before difference now is they will accept the call.

Flynn was fired for LYING to the TRUMP administration AFTER Trump was elected.

Personally think it is a little early to be making future predictions.

That?s an interesting position. Unfortunately it isn?t accurate.

No one has ever been prosecuted under the Logan Act. I still can't fathom Sessions not appointing another special counsel to investigate all of Hildebeast's transgressions. Makes one wonder how many are really tied into that slush fund know as the Clinton Foundation.

So they both may be crooks Hillary & Trump? You see we get the best money can buy in here in America with The Super_Pacs. The Blind leading the deaf is about all we can vote for now here in America.

The country's democratic system is in shambles and rotten to the core now in my opinion.A perfect Polarity split right down the middle sharing the guilt of a rudderless listing ship taking on water.

What could possible go wrong with this? Maybe a dictatorship you think?

Gen Flynn can't be too bright. He claims that he is now broke, having spent $1 million on legal fees. Now, I might spend that much if I were certain that I could get out of a mess, I sure wouldn't pay that much & come up a loser!

He flew to the Middle East to have meetings with Egyptians, Saudis, & Russians? That was not only stupid, he violated DOD rules that required permission for foreign travel by those what have, or have had, high level security clearance. And, then he lied about it?

He should have used the same excuse as the Unindicted Conspirator when questioned by the FBI: "I don't recall." Or, Brian Pagliano's excuse: "On advice of counsel, I invoke my 5th Amendment right."

Well that would make things different. Because he would have been acting under the authority of the then current administration.

Do you have a source for your claim?

Sessions, despite having a stunning history of racist behaviors, knows the law.

And I believe he believes in America. Using his office to prosecute political enemies isn?t the way we do things here. Putin would. Sessions, I believe, won?t.

Generally, obstruction charges are laid when it is discovered that a person questioned in an investigation, other than a suspect, has lied to the investigating officer.

I think you are trying to distinguish between impeachment, and removal.

So that would depend upon which of the three paths eventually join, and how.

Removal would be up to the senate.

There won't even be a vote to impeach. Ryan would never let anything that stupid go to the floor. Liberal dreams that's all it is. It takes 50% of the house to impeach. There are 57 more republicans than democrat. Good luck on those odds. Dream on stupid. Smoke a few more joints.

Supposing President Trump is going to be impeached, or that the Democrats seriously want him impeached, before the 2018 mid-terms displays a serious lack of political acumen. The Democrats simply want to advertise they believe the President ought to be impeached, that he's done something worthy of impeachment. If the Republicans moved on an impeachment vote and hustled it through the House and Senate the Democrats would do everything possible to stall and delay.

The Democrats recently entertained introducing impeachment articles based on the President's statements about Korea. That ought to tell everyone just what their play is on impeachment. And the NY Times had a pretty good overview of the matter:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/12/us/politics/impeachment-trump-green-sherman.html

Since losing the election the Democrats have done a version of spitting on food - spoiling it so no one will want any, except they do it now as a warning to future Republican candidates for the office.

They should be careful what they ask for, they just might get it. President Pence might be a much more formidable foe.

Democrats - the party of fools.

Dow futures up over 200 and all they can think of is how to keep their voter base on the their DEMOCRAT PLANTATION(s).

You seriously underestimate Ryan?s ability to justify betrayal in pursuit of increasing his own political power.

Well Public opinion could have a say here, you think? President Trump better start thinking about that very soon.

And Midterm elections could change the equation of Rebulicans in the House real fast if the economy sours.

Trump will not only not be impeached but he will be elected by a landslide next election. Ryan may not be re elected.

No president has ever been removed from office by impeachment and conviction. Public opinion is not a qualification for impeachment. If public opinion were against Trump he would nver have been elected. If he were to run again today he would be elected by a greater margin.
