"Putin's C@#k Holster"
So most have heard Steve Colbert's unhinged rant on television the other night. Too many double standards here to list but I would like to make this one ironic observation.
The gist of Colbert's rant is twofold, he was saying that (a) It's a bad thing that Trump's in bed with Putin and (b) that it is bad to have another man's unit in your mouth.
So where are the light loafered libtards on this one? Where is the LGBT outcry? How is Mr. Colbert NOT swinging from a Starbucks rafter?
This is because either on a conscious or subconscious level slights like this can be overlooked because the person being attacked is (a) non socialist, (b) straight or (c) white.
Marginalized and kicked to the curb, the target on the waspy man's back grows ever larger. The writing is on the wall.

Once again the DEMOCRAT party controlled media is showing its true self. Bias, slime, outright lies, hate and filth espoused daily. Not much difference between DEMOCRAT party propaganda and smut these days.
Imagine for a minute if a Fox commentator made such a comment about a Klinton or an Obama.0 -
Just another worthless POS. 0 -

I really wonder sometimes.0 -
It has long been open season on all presidents. Some thought Bed time for Bonzo was Reagan's finest hour. Personally I preferred Death Valley Days. 0 -
I really don't understanding the outcry. Colbert has been out in left field for years. Making a story about this benefits him far more than it hurts him.
FWIW, it is not irony if you create both the premise and the result.0 -
I think it is very classless to go on TV and trash your President. I could care less about the LGBTQ whatever being upset but this libtard and Baldwin trashing the Pres is just a bit much.
It used to be in fun now it is down right hateful.
These libtards need a dose of reality, like a kick in the nutz or just an old fashion ass whipping.0 -
Before all this, I had no idea the dude was even on TV still. 0 -

I have never even watched 1 second of his show and I don't plan too either. SNL lost me in the 90's.
This used to be comedy but now its really just hateful mocking and bullying. The libtards are always criticizing the bully but that is exactly what they are doing.

As far as I'm concerned, Colbert's rant was the x ring.
It is patently obvious that trump is a bullshi--er who has a chubby for tyrants and tyranny.
trump mistakes rudeness and cruelty for strength, as you would expect a cowering little man to do.
I think that trumps' success is that he is the weak man's idea of what a strong man would be, and he sells that shi- to people who don't know any better. He also lucked out, in that the democrats ran a terrible candidate, and there were people who voted for him while clearly holding their nose, because they didn't want the alternative.
Did you actually see his interview with Face the Nation, that led up to the smackdown?
If you didn't see it, the interviewer asks Trump, while they are in the Oval office, "Do you still believe that Obama had you wiretapped?"
Trump says "I have my own opinions".
The interviewer says "But you're the president, and I'm interested in your opinions."
Trump then says "This interview is over" and walks over to the desk, that has maybe 10 sheets of paper on it. He sits down and pretends to read them, shuffles them a bit, and "fumfers" around with them, being ever so busy with these obviously important documents. It is staggeringly pathetic.
As far as I'm concerned, the president doesn't get to insult people because he's the president. The best part of it is that one of the questions before trump pulled this pathetic little move was that the interviewer said something about a former president (Bush 1? I can't remember...) was that "the scary thing about the oval office is that there are no corners to hide in", to which trump replied "well, it is an oval, that's right..."
Outrage is cheap currency. The people who are "offended" at the idea of trump fellating putin are missing that it is a dominance thing, as opposed to a "happy" thing.0 -

You express a high level of support for a crass and obscene comment about the president...but are upset about ad hominem. That is just silly enough to almost be cute.

"You express a high level of support for a crass and obscene comment about the president...but are upset about ad hominem. That is just silly enough to almost be cute."
What's silly is that you don't know what an ad hominem attack is. It's not just a personal insult. It is a personal insult in lieu of a response to an argument.
Seems to me that you haven't been following this discussion. Here's the Cliff's notes version:
1. President insults a reporter in a craven and cowardly manner.
2. Colbert, a comedian, roasts him over his conduct, including a "fact based" insult, which is funny because Trump has a fetish for dictators, and the act of which he has been deemed suitable for is one that is commonly associated with subservience.
3. People claim to be bent out of shape over Colbert's remarks.
4. I explain why the remarks are well-deserved.
5. Rather than take issue with what I said, a personal insult is made. That, folks, is an ad hominem argument.0 -
