Problem with my foot. (Update)
I've had a problem with my foot for about a year maybe. Two small warts just behind the toes on my right foot in the callous, right at the ball of the foot. It finally became painful to walk on. Had to do something.
Spoke to my friend, I went to high school with that owns a Pharmacy. He suggested something called a Wart Stick. Saliscillic (Sp?) Acid in a chap stick form. Used it for a few days. What he didn't tell me. (Not his fault, I didn't tell him where I was going to use it.) [At the front ball of my foot.] Was that this sheeit pretty much dissolves your skin. I had deep layers of callous sloughing off.
I now had fresh pink skin just behind my toes on the ball of my foot. (About the size of 2/3rds of a dollar bill,) Not good. I have to wear heavy steel toe work boots at work, and walk miles each day on concrete. Hurts your feet on the best of days. Was extremely painful to walk on.
I Saw the Nurse Practitioner on staff at work this morning. Showed her what was going on. She had no solution, other than don't use any more of that medicine and try and let your foot heal. (Thanks.[^])
Foot got worse as the day went on. Hobbling around. Got home pulled my boot off. .50cent size blister deep under the ball of my foot in the new pink skin. [:0]
Drained it with a cauterized needle. About an hour later it is filled with blood. (Not good.) I'm thinking soaking it in Epsom salt would be best. (?) Suggestions welcomed.
I think I am going to be missing a couple/three days work due to this. I can not walk miles a day in heavy work boots. I'm almost crippled in Crocs.
Sorry, not my most glamorous post. I need help. Suggestions?

Sometimes I am close to right - as I have been there and done that with MRSA and flesh eating staff and still do not have a fully recovered immune system from the chemo and radiation
At least they appear to have taken you seriously and did not suggest neosporin or proscribe bactrin
Just monitor you temp for fevers

Sounds like time for Neo-Sporen, sanitary napkins and painter's tape. Also call Dr. Jose Quervo and many limes [:D]. Limes and lots of it for the vitamin C which you need for skin regeneration. 0 -

Barzillia is right; the crap you put on your foot is aspirin. Take a lot of it by mouth without enough water, & it will burn a hole in your stomach. It is caustic.
The professional you want to see is a podiatrist; he is a medical doctor whose specialty is feet. Continue to screw around with well meaning (but unqualified) friends, & you will get a new nickname: Pegleg.

I was Hoping for "Stumpy." [:D]0 -
I remember when I was a Tenderfoot in Boy Scouts we went on a 50-mile hike/camp out up the Uinta Mountains It's pretty rough country there, and after the first day I got blisters on my feet. The scoutmaster had some spray stuff that he called calluse in a can, I don't know the real name. But I'm sure you can get it at a mountain climbing store. It did put a layer toughness of the skin so I didn't get any more blisters and it protected where I did had blisters already. Without it I never would have made it. It might help you. 0 -
I thought that maybe you ran out of food Ken, and you started chewing on your foot...but then I remembered that there was a Taco Bell close and that erased that thought...[:D][;)]
Hope it gets better my friend[^]0 -
Wow! Night and day difference in my foot this AM. I do not know if it was the Tetnus shot, the oral Antibiotics, or the repeated soaking. (Probably a combination of the three.)
I can actually walk on my foot somewhat normally without wincing each step. Good stuff. [:D]0 -
