Scrimshaw powder horn (Finished)
I just started drawing on this horn this evening, but had to take a break to rest my thumb. I haven't completed one in a while, so my hands are not used to the bearing down that scratching requires. I use an Ice-pick to scratch the norn, and it's quite painful after a while.
A friend ordered this horn from me for a gift she wants to give a friend. I can't say any names, because I think they are a GB member.

It started off looking mighty good what a great finished project. Thanks for sharing pictures and how you got started with s sketch in pencil. I would have to trace it onto the horn, as my free hand sketch would not look like anything that resembled what I wanted to do. 0
