pulsamc's post got me thinking of all the motorcycles/atvs I have had.

Here are the ones I can remember, what about yours?

1970? sears minibike with Briggs 3 horse
1972 Honda Mini Trail

Never owned one, but this thread awakened a memory. My brother had a Harley in the 60s. Single cylinder, recent manufacture, called a "sporter?" Small and light. I can't find anything about them. Help?

I rode it a little now and then. He traded it for a bigger one I couldn't even hold up. Never rode another one.

My first was a home made mini bike. We made it from a bicycle. Cut the frame and welded a plate for the engine, we got from an old lawn mower. Everything we used on it was from junk piles! Even a used centrifugal clutch an older friend had, along with a rear wheel with a sprocket attached! I used it for about a year, it was dangerous as all hell with no guards at all!
Then I stepped up to a Rupp with a 3 1/2 h.p. Tecumseh.
Then a used 1 year old Honda 50 Mini Trail. (best mini bike ever!)

1967 Honda Dream 305 Scarlet Red
1975 Norton Commando 850
1976 Triumph Bonneville 750
I also had a 1960's Vespa scooter and countless other mini bikes and Mopeds.

Harley 125 or 165 cc "Hummer" maybe?

I seem to recall it was a 500cc motor. Just vague memories of it, except that I scared myself poopless riding it once or twice.

250 or 350 Sprint (Italian Aermacchi) looked like BIG Honda 50/65/70/90s (slanted cylinder).

The ERS and CRS and CRTT were factory race bikes (H-D) and plenty fast.

Started with a Honda SL90.

Swapped, bought, inherited 125-150 more (I won a watch at the local MC Dinner back in 1990 because I had had over 125 bikes)

Just bought (2nd week of July) a (project) Greeves 250 and plan on building a Grumph (Triumph T100C 500 twin stuffed in the Greeves frame)

I was bitten by the MC bug back in 1970 and it's been downhill ever since)

From '69 until 2006 I had only two, 70 Moto-Guzzi 750 Ambassador, and then in '90 a '83 Moto-Guzzi Call. II. (logged 87K on the last one)

I think iceracerx nailed it. 250 Sprint rings a bell. It wore the HD badge, but if he's right, it wasn't.

My most prominent memory of it was the "key" which was nothing more than an earplug jack in the top of the headlight casing. Probably could have stolen the thing with a Phillips screwdriver. Just stick it in to close the ignition circuit.

Here's one just like it!

There was only one, so my 1967 Yamaha 100 is easy to remember. It was the smallest twin cylinder on the market I think. Rode it to High School.

A guy lent me one of those "Aeromachi" Harleys to ride once.(a 350cc) Worst bike I was ever on. It wouldn't start 80% of the time and when it did, at fifty MPH you COULD NOT keep your feet on the pegs. Vibration was horrid !!!

Here's one just like it!

RR, HD owned (at least part) Aermacchi. It was a way to compete against the middle weight bikes from Asia. Not HD's finest hour

Here's an ERS (which I wanted in the worst way - yet I've only seen one for sale and that was back in '73)
