First released in 1981 as a limited-menu item, the McRib has inspired rabid fans who can?t get enough of the BBQ-sauce-drenched, rib-shaped-but-ribless pork patty, described on the McDonald?s website as ?a tasty fan favorite, slathered in tangy barbecue sauce and topped with slivered onions and tart pickles, all on a hoagie style bun.? With as many farewell tours as Cher, McDonald?s has insinuated many times that the McRib?s existence is fleeting, even though it always would come back, and this only served to stoke this demand.


Maybe this will unite this country in these decisive times!

Now I need to find a McD's that is making them..........Man o man, a McRib and a Milkshake!

My mouth is watering[;)]


Dang it none near me! There is one in Wilson NC maybe I will stop there when I go to see Ricci

    Never had a McRib, not my cup of tea but I go to Micky D's every couple of weeks and get a couple of Big Mac's. On the back of the cash register receipts from my grocery store they have the buy one get one free coupons.

    Try a Burger King Whopper, or even better, a 1/3rd pound classic Thickburger from Hardee's.

    I ate a couple of those things back in the early eighties after they first came out. Guess I wasn't too impressed as I never had another.

    The Burger Kings here just suck. I used to like the Whopper but the ones here are flattened down like pancakes. I like the Frisco Thick Burger but not at $10 a pop with fries and a soda.
    The thing about the Big Mac is that it resembles the old Big Boy burgers of years gone buy. That and I only buy them on a buy one get one free deal. The only other McDonalds sandwich I liked was the Cheddar Melt that they bring back once every 2-3 years. Other then those 2 I don't eat anything from them other then their fries.

    My wife & I went to a local Mikky-D?s this past Saturday to get breakfast, actually I just wanted an iced coffee, I like their coffee.

    We had to wait behind a crowd of local High School Cheer Leaders who had been at some school function, and when we got our order the lady who attended us gave us three coupons for free meals, because she felt we had to wait too long.

    Guess what I will be using them for?

    Besides, if you have to wait, doing so behind a Cheer Leading squad isn?t half bad...[^]

    Stopped at McD's on the way home from GA. I got a McRib and I thought my wife was going to puke when she saw it[;)]


    More for me.......[;)]


    Had the dogs with me 2. They each got a cheese burger plain and a few of my frys...............they were in heaven.

    There was a Panera Bread next to the McD's, that is where the wife went. She got some goat cheese, huckleberry and arugla sandwich on gluten free bread..............WTH is that, how can you make bread gluten free???

    She is mostly a vegetarian(She will eat fish and chicken occasionally and Pork BBQ if I make it)

    She told me Panera Bread has sandwiches for people like me(meat eaters).....I told her Panera Bread is a Pinko Commie outfit and they ain't getting my money.

    She called me a cave man[;)]

    She had to listen to all the right wing raido shows all the way too. I told her it was to get her mind right before voting.[:0]




    Yep I am tough to live with[}:)]

    I ate one of the McRibs a couple of days ago. It's the best thing at McDonalds (other than the breakfast menu).
