    I think $1307.00 for a mismatch was a good price and while normally I would say way too much this one looked like it was unmessed with and not a Russian/Yugo rework and will certainly be a good example of the ZF41 type rifle for a collection as a place holder.

    A correct and matching version will run north of 3 grand and unless you check the numbers will look the same

    Remember most of these imported were put together after the war as in the site mounts were replaced with the ZF41 mount and a scope was added to a gun that by builder never ever had a ZF41.

    Most of these I have seen in person were such incorrect maker ZF41s and the reaction the owner/seller/buyer whoever runs from huge disappointment to outrage and denial

    "You are wrong, this came from a highly reputable collection so I know for a fact it is authentic" Sorry sir, JP Sauer und Sohn Suhl never built a single ZF41 ever never.
    Responses can be anger to depression particularly when someone paid big money for a fake

    IMO this one was not a fake just a partial real ZF41 gun that required some parts to complete
