    Well tonight it is a 1 inch+ Rib-eye with saut?ed mushrooms, corn on the cob and a garden salad...and sweet tea. Maybe a little bourbon and branch water later.

    Just got home from the Mennonites farm (just up the road from my house),
    got a bunch of fresh green beans : not sure what else Im cooking , But I really like fresh beans !!!

    Beer Brats with sliced Portabella's drizzled in EVOO salt/pepper, in a Pyrex baking dish. Wedged russet potatoes drizzled with EVOO, salt/pepper in a seperated baking tray. Side of fresh garlic Italian bread.

    Flank steak that may wife has been marinating for 24 hours. She also slices our home grown tomatoes and puts our garden basil, balsamic vinegar & mozzarella cheese on them, WOW. Corn on the cob and an asparagus dish.

    Two packs of meatloaf. (Beef, pork, veal.) Mixed with some broth from some previously cooked Pork Chops and a ton of fresh Portabella's. One large fine diced onion, a ton of fine diced Cremeni mushrooms, a copious amount of Italian bread crumbs, a couple cloves of very fine diced fresh garlic, some EVOO, salt/pepper. Baked in a Pyrex baking dish at 375* for about 45 min. Fat drained off, coated with ketchup, placed back in oven at 300* for another 30 minutes.

    I unfortunately did not have a couple eggs to mix in and bind it together, I can tell the difference in the solidity of the loaf now. It may make lefy over meatloaf sandwiches more challenging.

    I will start. Stuffed fresh green peppers. Stuffed with mixture of Hamburg and rice, topped with my famous spaghetti gravy and mozzarella cheese, baked for 30 minutes.

    Pre cooked peppers in micro.

    I had home made spaghetti with Sausage a salad and homemade Italian Bread.

    I use Mario Batalli's recipe for the sauce with a few tweaks and fresh home made noodles.

    The Sausage came from the grocery store but they make it in house.

    I had a nice Merlot with it.

    Good chow on a rainy day.

    The wife made some Thai chicken and some rice thing with pea pods and a bunch of other stuff. For some reason I'm not fond of coconut milk. I new I probably wouldn't like it much so I only took a little. There were only about 10 fork fulls in the bowl. On about the 5th fork load I bit into something that burned the phuck out of my mouth. My wife said you must have got the 1 pepper thingy. I dumped the rest out and I'll never eat that chit again and oh by the way thanks for telling me that, there might have been a pepper in there.

    Spent all morning @ a flea market ( w-Pops ) sold a lil bit ?

    It ended up HOT before we left ? came home & took cold shower ? wish one of ( 1 of 5 ) girlfriends was here to help w-the Shower ???????

    In the style of Chinese chicken egg drop soup. Making another gallon. Made a gallon earlier in the week with Pot Stickers. That was good.

    I'll use Straw Mushrooms, bok choy, water chestnuts, snap peas, some white wood fungus (looks like a dried up pom poms) no real flavor just texture. I should cook up the white meat so I can eat it without choking on the dryness. How can something cooked in liquid be so dry?[:D][:D][:D]

    I'll let the boned out legs and thighs in garlic, ginger, green onion soy sauce marinade for tomorrow.

    Looks like Fresh green beans ( from the Menonite farm ) sliced tomatoes , Cast iron fried pork chop , Hot slaw , Hot corn bread ??? YUM !!

    and : went to Dr. , down to 193 ! 15 lbs to go !

    Just watching "judge judy' waiting on food to get done ! LoL !
