In Canada They have Made Pot Legal

It seems The Federal Government in Canada are going to become themselves a third world country first in North America. I guess the federal police will have to take vacation to indulge and I don't know about Canadian NATO Armed Forces However.

    Canada legalizing pot is NOTHING compared to electing Justin Trudeau as P.M.

    Trust me, there must be TOXIC gases escaping from a deep fissure in the earths crust causing Canadians to act irrationally, unable to control various bodily functions, and in case of Trudeau acquiring feminine characteristics. It's more than just a screw loose.

    I don't see a issue, weed should have never been illegal. Smoking weed goes back thousands of years, so what. The war on drugs is a sick demented not funny joke, a utter failure and has led to the militarization of our local police with just about zero good to show for it.

    It is a freaking weed, smoke it if you like or don't smoke it; I don't care and choose not to smoke it.

    It's been hybridized to raise the THC level to the point of it intoxicating people so high that it's should be deemed a controlled drug and not be decriminalized but used only for medical reasons.Not for recreational use!

    It's not just a plant like Hemp is. Even low-grade weed-like in the sixties is not close to being as intoxicating as the new stuff on the market but with the growers looking for more money, it's just a big get rich quick scheme off the idiots who get hook on it.

    I am of the opinion that strong man-made pharmaceuticals are a bigger danger to the public, regardless of how strong marijuana is now, has been, or ever will be, and I would like to see you provide real evidence of anyone overdosing on THC versus the number that have with any other drugs. I seem to have heard a lot more in the news about this supposed opioid crisis than I have any mention of a marijuana crisis, and whether you believe it or not, I pay attention.

    I might not pay attention to the level that I've become paranoid to every nitpickable aspect one can come up with, but focus on reality to the point I can tell the difference.

    If Federal law dictated that anyone who has ever tried any drug be disqualified from the right to bear arms, 50%+ of this country would either be in custody, or hiding themselves from it.

    Are you suggesting that if legally purchased, a firearm is subject to confiscation and the owner subject to criminal prosecution were that owner to test positive for a legally obtained and consumed substance?

    4473 deals with purchasing, not owning, serf.

    Even at that, bad laws should be challenged, not meekly accepted.

    Since when? You can have a lot of faith in your lawyer skills and assume how the confiscation is illegal simply because that you where not under the influence of an illegal drug when you purchase the firearm and your now safe from the law if caught with a presence of a drug with or without a gun is marginal argument that you can't even back up with case law in your favor yet.

    If they want you bad enough don't worry they will seize your firarms under criminal law usage.Pot weed maryjane is illegal under federal law!

    No guns for drug users. Federal law also says that any person "who is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance" is barred from possessing guns. 18 U.S.C. ? 922(g)(3). What does that mean? Good question. "[T]he exact reach of the statute is not easy to define," to say the least! United States v. Jackson, 280 F.3d 403, 406 (4th Cir.), cert. denied, 536 U.S. 911 (2002).
