Comedians..who do you like???

Seems like there are quite a few, but not many make me laugh hard enough..

My favorite has to be Rodney Dangerfield....

    I really don't care for the current crop (ok, crap) of people trying to do comedy.

    I like Tim Allen and Jeff Dunham. But in their specials (not sitcom) they're using way too much vulgarity.

    I remember when growing up and as a young man, comedians used humor. Lately they use vulgarity to get laughs.

    I rarely watch shows any more. It's a shame.

    Peter Sellers was a comic genius and Benny Hill made me laugh a lot but I had a hard time understanding many of his musical lyrics. His big Sh'' eating grin was priceless![:D]

    Eddie Izzard, but there's no way in Hades any of you guys would like him. His routine about animals meeting with God and getting assigned mating habits always kills me. "Salmon, oh dear, you've gotten here very late in process, haven't you?"

    I like him, he's funny as hell. Also like Mitch Hedberg (dead) George Carlin (dead) and John Pinette (dead) and probably still hungry. Although in general I don't think women are funny, Lisa Lampanelli. Of course her being a woman is kind of a push.

    Rodney Dangerfield and Don Rickles are my two all time favorites.
    Jackie Gleason is right up there also.
    I also always loved George Carlin, Lilly Tomlin, early Cheech and Chong, Bob Newhart, and a few more of the old timers. Robin Williams was also very funny!
    Currently, we've been going to a local comedy club for the past 6-8 years and have been lucky enough to see Jon Lovitz, David Spade, Christopher Titus, Andrew Dice Clay, and more. We enjoyed all of them!
    I'm not a fan of a lot of the current comedians that just use vulgarity(although it doesn't offend me. See Dice!!), I just don't see the humor!
    I find Brian Regan extremely funny and very clean!!

    Good comedy and good laughs is good for the body.
