Gunnut505 Knife Giveaway - (Winner)

I was going to ship this Custom made skinning knife, Antler handle, SS blade, brass bezel, made by my Cousin. (Very talented.) To Gunnut505 as a thank you to him, for all the unsolicited Chili goodness he was so kind as to have shipped me over the last 8 months or so. Would never accept any $$ from me.

I had it in a box with his address ready to go, but could not get in touch with him.


I will humbly offer it up, in His Honor, to a Forum Member on random selection. Only thing I ask, is that you remember my friend Joe Woolston/Gunnut505 When you handle/use it.

I am saddened it never got to him.

    Please consider this my entry. I believe this is same Gunnut that was so pro gun and protective of 2nd Amendment rights.

    I am sorry you lost your friend. I lost a dear friend recently before I could give him a little bottle of sand from Normandy where he served. Taught me a lesson to never put off for tomorrow what you can do today.

    I would use the knife proudly.

    Sorry to say, but tears flowing for my friend reading this.

    He was a Good Man.

    I will most definately miss him.


    This is (by far) the least I can do, in His Honor.


    I hope it gets lots of play. He deserves it.

    I was both happy and sad to inventory the Chile related culinary stuff he sent me today...

    I have one of his bumper stickers on the front of our refrigerator...

    There is still a half full box of pancake mix in the kitchen - which we cut with normal mix to find the right flavor profile...

    There are some jars and packets that get sparingly added to the slow cooker meals I prepare for the girls...

    I spent most of last weekend visiting my parents and my mother had some of his offerings out on the countertop...

    Please throw my name in the hat for consideration - I would be honored to be the caretaker until cancer kills me.

    This has hit me harder than I thought it would. I've been crying for my Friend/Brother for a while now.

    He was a good Guy. Most definately.

    He will be missed.
