Gunnut505 Knife Giveaway - (Winner)

I was going to ship this Custom made skinning knife, Antler handle, SS blade, brass bezel, made by my Cousin. (Very talented.) To Gunnut505 as a thank you to him, for all the unsolicited Chili goodness he was so kind as to have shipped me over the last 8 months or so. Would never accept any $$ from me.

I had it in a box with his address ready to go, but could not get in touch with him.


I will humbly offer it up, in His Honor, to a Forum Member on random selection. Only thing I ask, is that you remember my friend Joe Woolston/Gunnut505 When you handle/use it.

I am saddened it never got to him.

    What a fantastic idea for a fallen member Ken... If I win it, I would probably have a guy I know that engraves knives, engrave an eagle on the blade on one side and the whole second amendment on the other side... Thanks for the opportunity Ken

    Here is the last of the threads I started that he responded to...

    As noted while he responded to 28 pages of ask the experts posted questions - he did not start many threads himself over the last few years...

    I was reviewing his responses to my threads and some of his early experts replies late last night

    The percentage of my posts regarding cancer that he replied to is nearly 100%

    While this brought me many smiles it also has caused additional grief - as I take stock of how much of a presence he played in my life and how much he will be missed - a void has been left.

    I appreciate your insight Mike. He was a Good Man. Looking out for others interests. That is very much, to be commendable. Just the kind of Guy he was.

    Sadly i lost a friend to his personal demons that he could/would not control.

    His daughter is getting ready to have his first grand kid.[:(]

    Prayers you get better sooner. It will never go away completely.

    Winner selected by a truly random drawing. All names were written down on equal sized slivers of paper. Mixed up in a bowl several times. Blind reaching down in to the bowl, the Winners name selected was Shilowar.


    If you are able/can post a photo of the knife when you receive it, to the GBGD forum, I'd appreciate it.


    This knife was going to gunnut505. Sadly, never made it.
