I have been reading that WA is going nuts with terrible gun laws. Sorry for those who live there. State has been liberal in politics for some times and suspension of the Second Amendment is inevitable when communists are in charge.

I note that this was the only gun legislation being decided on this election cycle. Crickets from the NRA. They plugged a measly 622k into "stopping" this with nary so much as any visible effect. Not even a single ad run in my area. SAF was left to stand on it's own and they are pretty hamstrung right now with several court cases they are fighting. 0 -

Yep, but not for liberal/conservative reasons. The present Gov is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Koch brothers and the Representative from the Southern District was known for corruption and support from the Texas oil interests doing most of the extraction from the southeast part of the state. If the new rep does not do her best to represent the interests of everyone fairly and do her best to sustain the jobs there, she will be gone in 2020. It is worrisome to me when either side has it all, because the interests of others always loose out. So far none appear to be gungrabbers.

NM averages 13.85 inches of rain. Compare that to central WA which averages less than 9. Where I am it can fall between 15 and 30. So, I doubt it.0 -

I keep seeing people say they can't wait to leave states like Kalifornia, NY, etc. because of the leftists taking over but unfortunately the left taking over is like a slow growing cancer. The left destroys one state and people leave for a better life but they bring the mindset of where they came from with them and it starts taking over the state they have moved to till it too is ruined.
Unfortunately people don't understand that when you have to get a license and the governments permission to exercise a constitutional right it is now a PRIVILEGE and all the other constitutionally protected rights can also be treated as such.
When will it be a requirement that a government official inspect the homes of gun owners to insure they are following all the states laws on firearm ownership and storage? The government will require us to give up our Forth Amendment rights in order to use our Second Amendment rights. After all the government doesn't need a search warrant to search our homes if we voluntarily let them in order to get the government to give us permission to get a gun and keep owning it.0 -
