Quitters -
Okay, I know most of you probably know what this refers to in Sock Lingo. (Quitters are socks who have lost their elastic holding power, and end up around your ankles.)
I've been pulling from the bottom of the drawers in order to dress myself. (Long story.)
Well, I put on some "Quitters," about 4:30 this AM. (I knew it was going to be a problem.) I then changed Boxer Briefs, and guess What? Came up with another pair of "Quitters." [:0][B)] I'm thinking, This is going to be a LONG day. I'm thinking, Hey - my pants should keep these up and in place. Right?
Most of the day my socks were around my ankles. Steel toe, military surplus high top boots. Aaaaarrrrggghhhh.........................
Every time e I went to take a whizz at work, I was pulling my other "Quitters" up.
Was getting out of the car, and walking the long path to the front door of my house after work. Something felt "not quite right." [^]
Yep, made it into the house, started changing out of my work clothes. My Underwear "Quitters," were down below my A$$. So much for my pants keeping everything where it needed to be. [:0][B)][V]
Okay, flame me. I thought I would give you Boys a laugh. I'm ready for the abuse. Bring it. [:D][}:)]

I just roll the top of my sock over my boot.. 0 -
Two pages and no one mentions over the calf socks? Buy Gold Toe cotton sport, they never fall. I buy about 15 pair in black, white and grey all at the same time, in the 13 to 15 shoe size. Wear them for about 3 or 4 years and toss them all as a group. They'd still be mostly OK, but older socks and new socks don't feel quite the same. USA made I think. 0 -
WM and HF have small bungee cord with wire ends in smaller plastic bottles..stretch em out, hook em in, HOLD EM UP..no belt loops ....and all colors for diff occasions 0
