Don't pay the ransom, we escaped. This was only the second Tulsa show that I've attended that I came home without a firearm.
HeDog, Noah, my daughter and I did get together for supper Saturday evening. We all went back for a little while on Sunday, but still didn't get anything of consequence. The crowds weren't quite as large as usual, but there was a lot of quality guns. I saw more old Winchester boys rifles showing up than usual. A lot less ARs, very few AKs and many S&W and Colt collectibles. I saw way more brass framed Henrys than ever before. Their prices haven't come down any.[:0]
Tulsa got a pretty good snow Sunday night/Monday morning so roads weren't a lot of fun, but everyone got home alright.
Everyone of you should try to make a Tulsa show sometime. It restores your faith in the gun culture. Also it's worth the trip just for the good company.

Kimi, April is usually 10-15% larger than Nov. I have made the 1400 mile round trip at least 15 times since 2005 and I am truly sick of the drive. I go mostly to hand with Wundudnee, Noah, Matwor and sometimes other buds like DirtyDawg, but do manage to come home with some goodies. Two pair of grips in vintage Sambar and bone this time along with books on the Astra Pistols and the hand guns of the Reich, and maybe a cartridge or two.
If you make the trip in April, I will do my best to miss that show.[}:)][:p]
Actually would be great to see you again. We are also planning to make the Denver show again next year along with the KC Show, either of which would likely be easier flights for you, and Denver certainly an easier drive. Neither is Tulsa magnitude, but both are quality shows.
