    That's a great start.  But, I would refinish or paint it.  If you leave it "in the white" it will start to rus--, I mean, develop new patina, again.

    I hate to say it, but I admit to having bought um, er, several firearms from Ricci over the years.

    That infamous Water Based Brown Protective Coating is a B e o t c h to remove. I can see he takes it to a whole new level on his personal firearms. 😣😥😮

    Still curious what did you have to do to it to get it that way? Left outside hanging from a tree branch, wrapped in a wet towel in the trunk, used to add weight to your outdoor antenna?

    The bore is excellent. I have never used a drill on a rifled bore and can't see where I ever would. If the bore is that bad it's needs to be replaced I would think.

    The using a drill and a wire bore cleaner brush is a long running GBGD joke based on an ancient thread.

    I don't do jokes. Although I am still snickering about you pouring kerosene in all the lawn mowers you could find. You should really contact the Guinness World Record folks or maybe the Guinness Beer folks. That has to be some kind of record.

    Yes, i took major abuse and laughter from all my friends for a long time. Not my finest hour. A rather humbling experience. Hey, I owned up to it. We all laughed about it, at my expense.

    Now it looks like a "Gunslinger" version.

    Did the stuff you use to get the rust off eat the nickle finish too?

    Yea the gun is pretty much in the white now which is fine. I may get a black mat finish done. As you know to have it Creakoted I only have to go about 50 feet.

    Looks like you did not loose any numbers or lettering.  Will that stay the same when you re-coat it?

    I don't know for sure. It may be a case but there is pitting where the brand would be but it is a good quality knife with very good steel. All three blades hold a great edge. She lives here on my desk and cuts a lot of packing material and apples and oranges.
