I agree with you with the addition of closing a few more hot spots while keeping 90% of the country open with just advisories and guidelines made available. Michigan just released flu vs covid 19 figures. Since 2000 there have been an average of 100 flu deaths a year in the state, around 2 thousand total for 20 years. Since March 18 the state has had about 4000 deaths where covid was the primary cause. That shows it is a lot more serious than the flu but it would have made more sense to shutdown the few hot spot counties and let the rest of us decide what was necessary. Bob
Hey Bob, I looked at the situation in Michigan.  Michigan does not have a China Virus problem, Detroit does.  Also the number of dead is HIGHLY suspect with almost no testing done before make the China Virus call.

Yeah that's pretty much correct. By far the greatest number of cases have been in the 4 or 5 counties that surround and include Detroit. The county I live in has had 30 deaths but the county immediately south of me 843. That is why I worry that those folks will come to my community if the restaurants, bars and hair salons open here. The numbers I quoted in the other post were less than what the state gives out. Some sources try to be a little more conservative and weed out the questionable cases. Even with the corrected numbers it still sucks.😟 Bob

in our society of i want to do what i want to do when, where, and how i want to do it ..seems that those giving the orders  are making mistakes like those supposed to follow orders.... and i do not believe that this CV is accidental because the coincidence of china's retaliation for TRUMPS pulling the plug on their many years of trade advantage over us is just to convenient...
