I was going to add Our Gang Comedies and Little Rascals but note that armilite already did above. Depression-era shows that proved that kids don't care about poverty, they just have fun. Spanky, Alfalfa, Darla, Buckwheat and all the rest. I realize now that when I was watching them in the early 50s, they were already 20-year-old reruns!

What I remember the most is dad being up on the roof turning the antenna and mom hollering up to him to "turn it back the other way, you went to far" and dad would holler out "what ya say" then after a few rounds of that we'd have a somewhat clear picture on 2 channels and a snowy one on the VHF channel. 0 -

I was older when I watched shows like Mr. Terrific and Run Buddy Run. Late 60's I believe. They were both pretty entertaining. Mr. Terrific took a small pill that looked suspiciously like an M&M. It turned a meek mild guy into a flying goofball super hero. Buddy, from Run Buddy Run, overheard some secret about Chicken Little and spent the series running away from Mr. Big and his mobster henchmen. 0 -
