it would have to be some country music program ( grand old opera mid west hayride like those ) as that's all my dad would watch oh and westerns but only one time he said he if he already seen it and once was enough for any movie
as for when I got to choose . I would guess Saturday morning cartoons and westerns Roy rogers , rin tin tin and the like and of course Sunday night ( well 7:00 pm ) Walt Disney fond memories ..
growing up never one minute of TV was "wasted" per my dad on any sports program so I grew up odd man out when it comes to any sport conversations . even now I do not know crap about them .0 -
Sea hunt , dr Kildare , the original lawerence well show , Ted Mack’s amateur hour , sing along with Mitch The Ed Sullivan show , the Jack Parr show , Route 66, and yes we had Mickey and I drooled over Annette . Almost forgot Jack Benny and Rochester !

Amos and Andy. Granny's radio would pull in almost any station on east coast from Central, Va. Big huge heavy battery about 1.5 feet long with vaccum tubes. Antennae was large twisted solid copper wire with ceramic insulator on each end about 50 feet long. WWVA in wheeling my favorite.0 -
I remember the Flintstones airing @ 'Prime time' in black and white. It was past my bedtime and my folks would wake me up with their laughter. Eventually my folks let me 'stay up' to watch it with them. It must have been on @ 8 pm. 1960 and I was 3yo. I remember at the end of the show when the cat puts Fred outside, the 'camera' pulled back to show all of Bedrock. Odd what one remembers. 0 -

"A wing and a Prayer"{. a story of carrier pilots in TBF Avengers[my favorite airplane].... also the 1st whipping i got for using foul language.. my older brothers taught me. 0 -
I was a big Zorro fan! Sword buckling adventure where fat Sgt. Garcia always got a Z tattoo! Made for good outside play adventures with my many brothers! Willow branches could be fashioned into both swords, whips, and fishing poles for a kid who was poor and never knew it! 0
