Burger King considers 50 a senior -Like 20% off. But you need another 5 years I think.

EX - has been, Spurt a drip under pressure.

I am not one of those, but most places consider 55 the gateway to senior benefits.  Movie theater is the only place I get senior tickets.

I just realized I am old enough for some senior discounts.  Surprised me.

Even if you are 80 and show it, you HAVE to ask for a discount at most places!   Same holds true for a Veterans discount.

PGA considers you a senior at 50, most discounts are 55 though

    50? Fifty isn't yet a junior assistant proto-geezer. Hell, 50 is hardly a wannabe junior assistant proto-geezer.

    (But happiest of b-days, anyway!)

In Ohio  at 50  they send you a golden buckeye card for some %  ( do not remember maybe 5% ) off at places in Ohio that honor it  .  I am 63 wife is 61  never ask for a senior discount but have some places ( restaurants )  do it based on looks I am guessing  ?
( it  must be  based on my wife as I do not look old LOL )
some stores have special times set aside for older shoppers currently ,  I think most are the first couple hours there open
when I younger  as in teen thru early 20' s      I thought 40 was old 60 was ancient  any thing over was a lucky old fart    now I removed all set ages as being too old .. the years pile on way too fast to set a limit
when they start offering 5 or 10% off firearms and ammo then I may say something  ;)

    Smart man!
If seniors had a clue what AARP represented, they would never join. Take great pride every time I convince a senior to quit.

Taco Bell and a couple others give me a senior discount, but I'm not sure what it is, as mentioned movie theater ... but as also mentioned, you have to ask for it.

I remember when I thought 20 was really old, but then could not wait to get there.  I had the most fun in my 30's, but have been having a really good time since I retired.

Happy Birthday Daniel, you still have a lot to look forward to.  And replaced parts ain't all that bad.  50 years ago I would have been a crippled up old geezer who never got further than the rocker on the front porch.

I was 70 and didn't even have a doctor. Now at 75 supporting half the doctors in town and they are just keeping me alive long enough to get all my money.

At White Castle I always ask, "Do I get a discount for being old enough to remember when they cost 16 cents?"

When I get carded for liquor I ask, "Why, do you give a senior citizen discount?"

I fondly look back on when I was 50. Before parts started falling off. 😮

Happy Birthday, way too young to even be a "junior assistant wannabe proto-geezer."
