Mr. Perfect
My father was just admitted to the hospital with chest pains. He is 77.

    He seems to be doing ok. Lots of tests being run. He called my sister to wish her a happy birthday. At this time pain is limited to his sternum area. Thank you for your prayers folks.

    Glad to hear he is doing okay Randy. My poor pops had 13 heart attacks between January of '17 and his last event in June of '19, so I completely understand what that phone call is all about. The meds available today are absolutely amazing, he is on something that I forget the name of, which is actually causing artery growth on his heart.

    Good stuff. Appreciate the update. Was wondering about you and your Dad, and was going to post an update (?) request. Thanks for keeping us up to speed. This place is an awesome support network.

    He is being transferred to a hospital in Tacoma and is going to be kept over night. I guess the transfer is due to lack of beds and/or insurance or some such. The fact they want to do more monitoring... well who knows what that means. So far I guess the tests haven't ruled out anything.

    At 77, chest pains are common and not always life threatening. Observation and a few routine 
    diagnostic tests are what's called for. I hope everything turns out well.
