Did it yesterday online, after getting a postcard, "Your reply is mandatory, you can get fined."

    Bite me.

Haven't got one yet. Maybe I don't count in more ways than one. Bob

No intrusive questions, as alluded to by other Members here. "What is your Gross income per year?" etc. Pretty damn simple. Got annoyed by the question, before any others - "Are you of Latin descent?" No why? Do I get bonus points? Do I get free Medical Care?

On line a week or so ago before got the 2nd notice in the mail.
Quick and simple easy to answer questions and nothing intrusive at all.

I figured it was better than having some boob come knocking on the door.

Same here, including the second postcard. I moved out of my mom's house in 1979, so this is the 5th census I've completed as an adult and living on my own. The questions have been brief, and never in any way intrusive. I guess there must be a "long form" census questionnaire which gets people upset.

Got it completed and mailed same day I received it. Nothing at all like the past ones.

Yes, about two weeks ago via US Mail.  After I did the census I must have received another 3 or 4 post cards from them.  Seems a bit wasteful to me.

I got the long form and did not fill most of it out.  As for race, sub race, kinda race, many races, mixed races or alien I checked the "other" box and put AMERICAN.

The are you a Latino American questions, I found borderline offensive.

No. I am a "Legal" Resident. Do I get free Health Care now?

I did it online couple of weeks ago.  I thought it was better than getting more mail and finally a knock on the door.

Three notices in mail hanging out on kitchen table, Oop's better get my rear in gear. Completed on line three days ago. Five minutes, piece of cake.

Wife did it this year.  Last time I held out and they sent this insolent little jerk to the house.  I thought I was gonna' have to chase him off, but I figured that wouldn't work in my favor.  Gave the minimum and told him to get off, I was mad.  Don't like that chit!
Same here had my wife do it online.  She has the patience do it after she has been married to me for 40 years.

I typed my name on MYLIFE.COM and found out a WHOLE lot more info about me than what was requested on the census form. In fact they know more about me than I know about myself. It's amazing what they have listed.

They listed my name, age, address including every where that I've ever lived, current cell phone number, race - caucasian, including my wife's name and all my children, my sister and my parents names, the model of vehicles I have, what my annual income is and net worth, including my religious views which are listed as Christian.

It appears the banks I've done business with over the years sold me out. Not sure how they found out my religious views?

My wife's name doesn't bring up nearly that much info which I guess is because she didn't have but a couple of credit cards in her name over the years.

Mailed mine April 2.  Since they wanted to know how many lived at my residence on April 1, I figured I should wait until that day to fill the form out.

So now it's against the law NOT to answer the doorbell? I can treat that like phone numbers I don't recognize---ignore 'em. Wonder how long they would stand there on my porch. We have a wireless doorbell that I can unplug. I answered all the questions I'm going to answer online.

Due to the COVID, census is doing ONLY mail/ electronic.  There are- at this time- NOBOADY doing door to door that is legit census.  Bunch of telephone scammers, tho..And scammers are branching out to the stimulus payment thingy as well.

re: minimum information - in the 2010 Census, gender, age, & race was considered enough information to "count" the individual. I'm not sure if that has changed for 2020.

the one I got in 2010 was just about a small book of questions

Glad to hear that the questions asked on this census were not intrusive.  I just completed it and it has to be one of the most simple federal censuses that has ever been conducted.  Trump has to be the reason for simplifying it!!!!
