I don't get to the store much anymore but it must be plentiful because  the neighbor girl says that she gets bread all the time.

Loko, bread for sandwiches. The only thing I use it for.

Other than that, I typically do not consume it.

The problem is, it is not getting re-supplied.

When gone, it is gone for weeks.

I only buy as much bread as I can use before it goes bad. Not hoarding it. I've got plenty of sandwich meat, but what am I going to put it on?

Lettuce wraps, or flour tortillas, I guess.

I recently bought 2 one pound packages of thin sliced honey ham lunchmeat at our local Meijers store. My design for it was to make ham and cheese sandwiches.

Yesterday I opened up the meat drawer in the fridge and noticed that both packs have an expiration date of April 1st!!  :s    I immediately tossed them both into the freezer.  Been contemplating what to do with the ham.  May be slicing chunks left frozen for scalloped potatoes or pizza topping. ?????   My normal shopping habits always check dates but currently it has been a race through the market.  My logic with things flying off the shelves as they are that stuff should be about as fresh as it would ever be!  Guess my logic is a bit off center!

Bought a loaf of the only thing available. Doug's Super 11 grain bread. $5.99/ loaf.

Happy to have it. Plenty of sandwich meat on hand, just needed bread.

Oh well, it is what it is.

You "Bread is evil" people are going to have a tough time overcoming 10,000+ years of human history, during all of which bread has been considered the staff of life.

We've got plenty of bread but no toilet paper. I bought a bunch before this all started I'm good for now.

About any kind of bread you want here, No TP though.
I also have noticed the devils dishwater is plentiful and many of the carts have a case of few in them.

Bread..probably the worst thing you could put in your body..lol....now folks are fighting for it..

A motorized vehicle is probably the worse thing you can wrap around your body but it sure makes life a lot nicer too....doesn't it   :)

I'm good on the bread, baked this sourdough loaf today and still have 25 lbs of flour.

I have not had any problem finding bread , Both DG and local grocery has alway gad some,, finding eggs is like an easter hunt,, almost non-existent,, local grocer bought out stock from large restaurant that was shut down so today they had big flats. Produce here is what is worse,, no lettuce, tomatoes or basically anything imported this time of year

Stopped at Food Lion today for a couple odds and ends. Although their bread aisle was about 75-80% wiped out, they had some. Bought a loaf of Sarah Lee whole wheat. Put the loaf of Henry's 11 grain bread in the freezer. (it was smaller and would fit.)

Glad to have it. Glad my freezer could accommodate it. (Barely.) Have sandwich meat, needed bread. Been very difficult to find last 3 weeks.
