Why isn't there a run on guns and ammo? Here the ammo shelves are full as are the gun racks.
Since we have a panic situation going on I'm amazed guns and ammo aren't flying out the door. If things get bad I know I would rather be armed than have toilet paper!
How about where you are?? Is this just a South Carolina thing?? The average South Carolinian is armed so is this just as simple as I got guns but I ain't got toilet paper??
I would never have believed things could get this crazy over far less than deadly virus.

I’m thankful we’re not in Italy. 0 -
Stopped in my local gun shop today and it was full. I am good friends with the owner and he said it has been crazy the last four days. He did not even have time to talk because he was so busy with NICS checks. 0 -
I received an email this afternoon from Target Sports, an ammunition seller who I buy my bulk ammo from stating: **Please expect 10-day shipping delay on all orders due to the increase demand.**
I'm fine on all calibers excepting 7.62X39. I only have a couple of hundred rounds in that caliber, and getting more seems unlikely for a while. Oh well, these are the times we live in.0 -
Ammo is selling out fast locally. Local farm supply store is the only stocking dealer of ammo; 9mm almost gone, same with 223/5.56. The display of 12ga buckshot had about half of what was there when I was in less than a week ago. Several people looking at guns, several buying ammo. Still lots of rimfire ammo available, see how long that lasts. I expect 40/45 ammo to go next, along with 308/7.62 Nato. Very little 7.62x39 for sale at any time, that caliber is becoming quite uncommon locally.
Didn't go to Walmart, they do sell ammo but not guns. Since they changed their policy on ammo sales (not handgun or short barrel rifle ammo), the selection is virtually no existent. Even the workers made similar comments. No ammo at all for sale in 223/5.56, 7.62x39. Still have 308/7.62x51, no idea the logic there.
Shotgun buckshot is selling out fast locally and online, or already gone. Has been for at least two weeks. I didn't notice the lack of availability until the group I hunt with mentioned they could not buy 12ga 3 1/2" #4 buckshot anywhere. Looking around on the net, the "00" buckshot is available in 3 1/2", but no #4buckshot at all. 3" mag 12ga is not far behind, very little #4 buckshot, almost no #1buckshot. 00buckshot in 3" still a decent supply, as well as most selections in 2 3/4"
