one of my major pet peaves.  i grew up in wva with a lot of italians, even some married into the family.  never ever break spaghetti.  twirling it on a fork is an art form. id vote for you on that platform.

Now they make short spaghetti its call pot sized spaghetti.

I agree about breaking it, a crime against humanity.

That said I like fresh made, so much better than dry.

I'll stick with SpaghettiOs. I'm too old to twirl.

Twirl my foot, when it hits the plate I cut it to short pieces so it will stay on the fork.
Twirling spaghetti, I guess the next thing is you use a spoon to roll it up with. Sissies.

If you enjoy it more broken, more power to you.
If you enjoy it more at full length, more power to you.
There is nothing to be gained by imposing a food purity test upon anyone.
A guest in my home is welcome to pour good Scotch Whiskey over ice, put ketchup on a beautifully grilled rib-eye, or even, God forbid, put sugar in his tea.

How the heck did you drop your Spaghetti into a bowl of Chili??? You must be more careful, that could explode or something.

    Cincinnati style.

Next thing you know, they will be talking about Chili without Beans.

    AKA - Hot Dog Chili.

What is "Severe Punishment?" Flog me with a wet Noodle. (Broken in to pieces, of course.)

Never break them but slurping them up and not make a mess is the art. Otherwise your shirt will look like a Jackson Pollack masterpiece.

If you put ice in  good whisky from then on you get CHEAP whiskey in an old expensive bottle. How will you know the difference? I keep the old bottles just for people like that.
