How to be anonymous in the age of surveillance
Special sunglasses, license-plate dresses: How to be anonymous in the age of surveillance
A fringe movement of privacy advocates are experimenting with clothes, makeup and accessories as a defense against some surveillance technologies. Some wearers desire to opt-out of โsurveillance capitalism,โ while others fear government invasion of privacy.
Personally, I prefer to adhere to gray man theory.

Hard to utilize the Grey man thing if there isn't a crowd handy.

On a side note have you ever noticed how different a woman can look at different times?? A guy looks pretty much the same all the time but not women.

If you were truly wishing to be the "Grey Man," you would not be posting here.
Has my wig slipped? I put the lipstick, on the dog. Eye shadow is reserved for me.

You have that right, Ricci.Wright. I don't know how many times I've been in a coffee house or similar drinking place, where a lady really looks so much better around closing time. ๐

Know what? I just don't care any more. I have never committed any serious crimes, have no outstanding warrants, and am a model citizen in every respect.

There are thousands upon thousands of federal laws. You're sure you've never violated one of them? Have you ever filed taxes? Ever read the tax code?

Those are the ones "they" come after first.

IMO, if you go out of your way to conceal your identity, you have automatically red flagged yourself right into Big Brothers radar!

Spot on, Brookwood. Spot on.

I just cut the tag off the pillow. I am unconcerned about the data they actually collect on me, I am somewhat frightened by what they will make up - all the necessary paperwork will be in place at the execution.
You take cash out of the handibank (they scan the serial numbers), you buy some fast food. They use your money as change to some drug dealer, who gets busted with your money. Your phone and their phone puts both of you at a location at around the same time. So now they have probable cause to do what ever - wiretap, bank records, surveillance....
You can run, but its hard to hide.

Interesting application of the technology.
i bet it becomes popular with the masses.

Being anonymous won't matter with the red flag law that's getting popular these days. All it takes is a neighbor, pissed off ex or someone that just don't like you to turn you in saying you're a threat of some sort and they come and take your guns or whatever away. Same as back in the days when a German could turn his neighbor in for saying something like...Hitler's momma wears combat boots. And off he'd go to the concentration camp.
