I just cut the tag off the pillow. I am unconcerned about the data they actually collect on me, I am somewhat frightened by what they will make up - all the necessary paperwork will be in place at the execution.
You take cash out of the handibank (they scan the serial numbers), you buy some fast food. They use your money as change to some drug dealer, who gets busted with your money. Your phone and their phone puts both of you at a location at around the same time. So now they have probable cause to do what ever - wiretap, bank records, surveillance....
You can run, but its hard to hide.

Being anonymous won't matter with the red flag law that's getting popular these days. All it takes is a neighbor, pissed off ex or someone that just don't like you to turn you in saying you're a threat of some sort and they come and take your guns or whatever away. Same as back in the days when a German could turn his neighbor in for saying something like...Hitler's momma wears combat boots. And off he'd go to the concentration camp.
